I will always have a place in my heart for the original, but I'm very impressed with how Luka's voice has grown ' o ' great job on this one
Yes, her v2 has such warmth and kindness in it. Because of it's smoothness, tho, people think it's not clear. I disagree because there's many examples of her being very clear. She can also be "raspy/clear" like the others too but they have to work at it.

I love this. I don't even care if I still "Just Be French", I love it xD I think the most noticeable thing about her v4 is her tune. Sounds more "energetic" or "Young" to me! Her original voicebank sounds serious, dark, "sexy" tune, and somehow soft.

Wow, if only there's a love button, I love this new updated Luka. Sure it's different but it makes her more human-like and she sounds so powerful!! Great tuning btw :D
I still like the original more, but it's like the older Luka, years and years after she sang Just be Friends the first time, is reminiscing her past love life ^^

Yeah same. I didn't really like Luka's V4X voicebank at first, because I had grown accustomed to her V2 voicebank. It seemed really different. I was expecting it to just sound almost the same, but a bit clearer. I've grown to love Luka's V4X voicebank for the voice it is.

IT'S BEEN SUCH A LONG TIME SINCE I'VE CRIED THIS HARD
I personally think that this is (so far) the best usage of Luka V4 I've heard, because in other songs with the updated version of her, she sounds so...muffled and choppy, almost sound like MEIKO V1, to say bluntly (I'm sorry but that's my opinion, I apologize if I've offended some people because of what I said about her voice :/). But here, she sounds clear and not so choppy, which means she could sounds great if being used correctly (although I heard she is harder to use than the other V4 Vocaloids). Great job at using her!
Her voice is more powerful and still sweet, is a nice update of Megurine Luka c:

In many ways, I feel the same, but she can be tuned more like her old self. A producer called HERNIA CROCO uses her way different than this. A song called "Clock" and one called "Misanthrope" come to mind. He's got way more tho. Look him up

It hurts that there's quite a few here who think badly about her V2, because it really IS clear and beautiful!!! (AWESTRUCK I) is a playlist I put together with many of her non-mainstream songs. There a lots of them that are so beautiful, but for whatever reason are neglected. I listen to it daily (for years) and it doesn't get old.

No, Luka V2 is extremely beautiful. Some of her V2 heritage carries through into V4x, but if she EVER loses that, she'll be just another ordinary Vocaloid.
Look up (AWESTRUCK I)... and you'll hear what I'm saying. That's a playlist of V2 and V4 combined (with some very beautiful V2 songs that very few people have heard of).
This version is way better! I don't really like this song, I listened to it to see how much she improved ... and she sounds amazing! :D
