Hello from BC Canada. Wow such a hard life. I remember as a kid on a farm in Saskatchewan all the work there was with hauling drinking water, outhouses, lights powered by kerosene. It was work all day long. But healthy, home grown, canned food in winter. Chickens for eggs, cows for milk. All required work. I am 3 rd generation Ukranian in Canada.
You are doing well. You have packed well with preparations. You forage your surroundings for materials for needed repairs. It is peaceful there. Your work is for yourself.

Also buy a donkey with paniquin…rugs with big pockets too gather supplies, plus you can ride down and who knows ride back up again if packed good.. Try taking some hot coals out of the stove, they will come in handy on real cold cold days if you wish to bring in water you can use 2-3 coals in bottom of bucket, they will float but then sink I promise this will stop the green growth, anyway you know now up to you.
It must be extremely frustrating and difficult to be alone, in a foreign house, that is so poorly maintained, no tools, no friends to help, far from town and resources. I’m sorry. It may take a long walk into town and inquiries for help. I don’t know what your abilities, for getting help, food, water, clothing, shelter, would be. Maybe folks in town could help? strangly enough I feel like a sod house would be more energy efficient. Earth is a very good and cheap insulator. Very common around arctic and desert places like norway or arizona,USA. Save more wood. But I don't know if you're allowed to build on this land?
First, you should check the roof of the house to make sure there are no holes and no leaks. You don't want the rainwater to start coming into your house. Second, you need to do a professional job if you want your roof to last. Do you know how to build?

This house is a wreck. Beautiful nature but it needs 3 months of summer work to prepare it for winter. You need chainsaw, ladder, tools, wheelbarrow, small tractor or vehicle, weedeater, scythe, woodstove, solar panel. Very sad and melancholy location reeking of past lives and dreams. magnificent and depressing.
