I have been watching shag haircut videos all day because I am making sure that I know what to ask for when I get my haircut. This is by far the best video I have seen. This guy is extremely talented.
I just did this on myself. It was really hard to get the sections right but I kept trying and double checked them by taking a picture with a phone. It took me 2.5 hours but it came out good. I still have some personalization to do but I will slowly do that once I get a feel for where there is too much weight. This is the second shag haircut I have done one myself and definitely the most technical. I know this video is not meant to be a DIY but you know people will try.

I'm in the process of growing my hair out but right now my length and layers could use an update and a shag cut like you've done wouldn't take that much off whats grown out already. And its a more forgiving cut to grow out. Thanks for sharing your expertise and reminding me of the shag cut♡

Just followed the instructions and my hair looks just like a shag/gypsy. Great tutorial. I can’t quite get the upper volume in the back as I don’t want to thin it too much, and … it’s in the back so angle is tricky, but it’s close. The sides weren’t a problem. For a non trained hair stylist I am grateful for this. I’ve been wanting one of these☺️

I had a shag hair style when I was a teenager in the 70s an I loved it . But I'm not fond of this new version of the shag ! An I do understand what your doing I went to cosmetology school an I come from a long line of stylist n barbers . u are really good an talented an you explain in such detale . I don't remember my cosmology teacher explaining a hair cut an style in such detale. Thank you for sharing this.

@@user-qn9wr3rm3g También puedes usar cremas para tu abello si no quieres que se te esponje mucho y al cortartelo trata de que no quede muy arriba de tus hombros ,igual puedes quitarte volumen del cabello para hacerlo mas ligero el corte así yo le hice.

The shag is back, Love this cut. This is a 70s cut seem like everyone wore it. Just shake your hair and it freely just laid in place. Even if it didn’t, it was cool look messy . Dudes cut hair better any woman has ever! I think it’s cause the man can Picture the way you’re going to look with the cut.
