I am 10+years experienced in software industry and was trying to understand "what docker is" and "why we have to use docker" and "what problem" docker is trying to solve.. I went through so many tutorials and none of them gave me a correct idea about docker.. This simple video saved my entire time...Thank you very much!!!!! Now I remember that there were multiple instances in my career where Docker might have saved a lot of time..
this is a classic example of right brain vs left brain. some people are technical, others are articulate. it's rare to find someone who's technical AND articulate. thankfully the author of this video has both skills.

Great Explaination on docker !!! one thing i would add is docker provides OS level virtualization. Many people compare/confuse docker with virtual machines, but in short virtual machines are hardware virtualization. Containers are the real magic objects which are now available to all of us common people all thanks to docker. Container technology has been around for long time but it was not available as it is now and the credit goes to docker.
Thank you for this! I've been struggling so much just trying to get my head wrapped around this concept. I was almost ready to give up, which would have been bad because I needed this for one of my classes, and the professor didn't explain anything about docker, just expected us to start using it! Now some of the other videos that I have seen makes more sense. Can't wait to start learning to use docker :)

It is a nightmare to listen to some IT people, most of whom just like to show off with alien language. Also liked your video on DevOps. Especiallly, when you sais 'It is not a tool/software/company'. Was honestly doubtful when he said we were going to be completely clear as to what Docker does by the end of the video... and yet... here i am... i understand... 10/10
