Thank you so much for making these great tutorials. I would love to spend a day in your workshop! If you are still in Perth I'm afraid that'll never happen as I am in Arizona. Keep inspiring us new metalsmiths with your delightful videos delivered by your sweet, calm demeanor. You're awesome!
My only problem is that I want to go out and buy the tools you use, which are high end tools, and which I can’t afford, LOL! Nah, I’m pretty good at improvising. I do need a better quality caliper (?), however. Love watching your videos, learn so much. Thank you!
For this project, you might, instead of a caliper, also use dividers. And if you don't have shears, you can, of course, also use a piercing saw. You also do not need a propane/oxygene torch - a simple crème brulée torch is more than enough. If you don't want to buy expensive hammers, you can modify and polish some cheaper ones from a hardware store. Instead of a dapping block and round punches, you can use a piece of wood and a ball bearing ball.
Nice to see you again. As always, excellent tutorial. Hope you're safe and healthy.

Soham, Loving your video as always, such beautiful projects. Did you move your shop? The background looks different than your garage :)
