His idol (famous ice skater) sees him skating and wants to be his trainer. So Yuri gains more confidence and continues to follow his dream. The Anime is all about dreams! You see many other skaters which are plotted so well, that you want ALL OF THEM to win! But in the end, you root for Yuri, because he is like yourself: insecure, naive, but full of hope and dreams.
