they have 3 rounds of team fight. each round consisting of 12 people and only 4 advance to the semifinals per round

I don’t understand the team fights
It is like cross battles, sing offs but between teams. Not inside the team
They pick who they want to replace from the 4 people at the back, whoever they think they can beat vocally. But what I don't get how they decide if one is better than the other.

have you watched the four? basically it is a ripoff of that but it involves 12 persons. first four participants will automatically be seated then 5th - 12th participants so on and so forth will challenge the seated ones and will attempt to yeet them. only 4 surviving participants after 12 performances will proceed in the semi finals.
