I learn from every single video, brother. Fir some reason I never understood why a guy would do the back cut first. It clicked here. I now understand why my chains don't cut how I want. I get that brown discoloration you explained. I needed to hear that to understand that I need to be taking a few more swipes. Thanks, buddy!
looks like that here too , went from sunny and 60's last week to rain to a little snow everywhere, I have to adjust...I'm getting too old to push it out in the cold and wet anymore :) Nice vid BTW
That 266 sounds good Tinman! I cut a lot of trees the same way by putting enough back cut in first to get a wedge in. I feel like I have better control of the tree. We got 3 inches of wet sloppy snow last night in the Missouri Ozarks. Second one in a week. Almost unheard of here for mid November.
Years ago I had a pine beetle problem on my property, I took note of the worst hit areas and waited for winter. Then I cut and burnt everything that showed signs of bug damage. A couple of really big bonfires and it seems to have solved the problem.
Hogan's saw is coming on nicely. Maybe it is time to give the 562 a birthday and perhaps a little tickle. Let it live in well earned semi retirement as a special occasion hotrod.
Great sounding saw. Will even be better with the bro's pipe. Heading out to cut some old growth ash tomorrow, +20" on the stump and +100' high, about half a cord per tree....mmmm it's gonna be fun. TC Mahalo Tinman🤙🤙🤙
For being so fresh, she's already a smooth runner👍🏻 one day I hope to own a 200 series husky! Been looking locally for over a year with no luck, other than a 268 that was missing the chain brake assembly with a broken top cover for $400 firm🤯🤣 I may just have to go on the internet😅
Getting cold 🥶 out here in Oregon 🌲✌️❤️ you should do a holiday saw give away this year, it would be awesome to own a power saw you built up, stay elevated tinman 👍😁
That Spruce Budworm hits all Spruce species here Tinman. Its pointless trying to replant with the same thing. I've cut almost all of Spruce trees except for one.
I have a couple spare pistons and a new cylinder for the Stihl 038 Magnum if you still need parts. Get ahold of me and we'll figure out how to get them to Canada, I can't use the cylinder head. It's new but needs head spaced and it's out of my expertise.
The wood chipper lol. Love the big chips coming out the back. Hey whats your take on chain tightness? I get lots of different opinions on it I am interested in the tinmans opinion. Thanks
Hey Tinman, do you get hit with any extra border charges or duties when you order through wolf creek? I’ve order a few parts from American websites and got some unexpected duty charges.
I found Husqvarna saws almost impossible to kill , they run forever . Your spuce trees are very hairy , most of mine have no branches except the top twenty feet . Like how you cut the stumps off right at ground level , keeps you from hitting them with the truck latter, hidden in the grass 👍🇨🇦

Stihl is a quarter turn cap. It’s not bad I just keep getting messed up on where to start since I don’t use my saw often enough so I gotta spin it for a second before I find it’s spot.
@@FishFind3000 I’ve had the caps actually “fail” during live action - possibly just a part that slipped by QC … either way is not acceptable especially when the failure results in the contents of the fuel tank emptying onto the operator

Nothing feels better than to run something you built with your own hands!!!! Nice job my friend 👊
It's a great feeling every time I run a new build for sure.
Thanks again for the cap info. Just put those flip caps on my 266 and 61 and love em
Sounds awesome. Same snow here in NE MN.
Great 266 my favorit saw.enjoy
I absolutely love your channel Tinman!!!!!

North of you on the Canadian border. Still white at 1:45 AM Thursday. It’s coming!
Awesome 😎
Amazing boss..
I like your saw

Great stuff Tinman, love to snowy landscape. Keep up the excellent work. 🌳🪓
Always plenty to learn with these saws. Thanks for the lessons.
That saw is going to be awesome with a pipe Tinman. Good job. Hope you guys get to feeling better soon. Take care and stay safe and warm.
Stand up and buck.
Buckin' must be proud.
Tinman love your channel all content great keep up the good work appreciate it friend

Hey tinman keep up the good work brother love the 266 clips I have one best husky made lol
Those new caps work on everything up to a 372 that I've tested. Fuel side that is.
I to love old saws lol
Looking good

Love a good 200 series saw. Can't wait to see it again
Thanks for sharing
Circlips everywhere 😂✊
Story of my life hahaha

Beautiful Manitoba! I lived just south in Grand Forks, loved visiting.
Nice saw Tinman!
I learned something today yes in fact I have heard my saws do that very same sound !
Semi chisel chain works best for firewood. Stays sharp longer. Take the rakers down and it will throw big chips and stay sharp longer.

What part are you in? I'm in the Willamete valley.
@@FerociousSniper me too brother ✌️🌲🪓
We’re getting some snow ❄️ here in WNY in the next few days. Fortunately my thick winter coat allows me to work outside in just about any conditions 😜
Ahahaha it’s absolutely trashed inside but still Runs good. 😂
The 272 side cover should fit that saw if he wants the newer style side cover
Hey buddy, that video we were talking about will be out on Wednesday at 6pm my time, be great if you let me know what you think
K buddy sounds great
I had a similar problem with the brake lever. I we used a 288 lever I think. Sounds ok
nice 😀😃😄😁🙂👌✌💪🦁🐯🐻🍐🍒🍒🚜🟢🏁🏁🏁🏁
Anda memang hebat brow 👍👍
That 266 sounds really good. I wounder what that saw will run and sound like with a pipe.

HL supply HAS those bars in stock, or they did when I got mine about 1mo ago.
We got the white too. On the other side of the continent. And of course ain’t ready yet…….
Can't find a clutch for my 266. Where can I find one? I believe it's coarse thread? Watch your videos often from Wisconsin. Love the content!!!!
Those are pretty much ou available used.
Nice work on that saw , what's your thoughts on Husqvarna 570xp is it worth a rebuild

That first couple bucks the tree was just powder in the middle lol . She was toast .
The wood chipper lol. Love the big chips coming out the back. Hey whats your take on chain tightness? I get lots of different opinions on it I am interested in the tinmans opinion. Thanks
I run my chains a bit on the loose side. It seems to be way easier on bars that way.
@@tinmanssaws hey tinman thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate your time. I'll probably try that out. Thanks man!!
Is the 266 a pro series saw?
Mesin husQ memang tangguh. Sayangnya di Indonesia susah parts nya bos 👍👍
She rips

Buckin would tell you to put that wedge in at an angle so that wouldn't have happened
Will that flippy cap fit the 372xp ?
It does.
How many Hours did you get on that 562xp???????????????
Friends!!!
Does a 266 rev higher then a 272?
I havr a old chain brake if u want it tinman it need the metal handle part replaced though it was bent when i bought my saw
Maybe a stupid question but do most full wrap kits decrease the space between the handle and chain brake lever. I would assume for better balance?
Sweet cherry pie tinman cuts sweet as 🍒😁
The snow is only welcome because it means ice fishing other than that it can go away I had enough last winter

Okay not Alabama. Not meant for me.
The Husqvarner flippy caps are excellent, the STIHLS …. Meh 😒
