Klaserie great sister too always with mum and Phabeni !! Thank you Dear Adine !! have a good Thursday !! all of you too !! ❤🐘
Good morning Jabulani HERD family 🐘. Lundi 🐘 was enjoying a good scratch on a tree. Then it becomes a family affair 😂. Khaynisa 🐘 was so gentle and loving to Phabeni 🐘 as she was giving him trunk hugs ❤️. Kumbura 🐘 stays by Phabeni's 🐘 side. I guess Setombe 🐘 has no choice but to allow Kumbura 🐘 to watch over Phabeni 🐘. Adine that was pretty interesting how each elephant 🐘 had to come over and give your pants a good sniff. Have a great day Jabulani HERD family ❤️🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘❤️
Just when you thought Khanyisa couldn't get any more adorable - she turns out to be a gentle sister to baby Phabeni with no signs of jealousy! Delighted to watch this happy herd family!
What a joy and privilege it is to watch interactions in the herd close up: How a friendly greeting between bulls can escalate into a wrestling match, how Khanyisa is growing into a doting older sister, and how the elephants - from many yards away - can detect a new article of clothing on Adine and move in to investigate! Phabeni acts as though he’s always been a member of the family; his confidence and even the playful pushes at Adine signal his potential as a future leader. But my heart goes out to Lundi! Thanks and best wishes to you all!
Ditto and Adine's comments re: their places shifting in the Hierarchy were interesting + liked that she "got onto" Jabu when he started "asserting his position" over Jabu. U ROCK, Adine! 👍
Good morning from Michigan USA and I love watching your videos of the Herd, the gentle rumblings, watching the mud baths. Every one of them has their own personalities. The babies are getting bigger and looking so healthy. ❤❤❤
I would award HERD the Nobel Peace Prize for your work with the beautiful elephants and for all the joy your bring so many people with your videos. Then you could buy your solar equipment!
Adine and her baby voice when she speaks to the babies in the herd...😄😍 Never fails to get me in the same mood and baby voice each time Phabeni or Miss Sunshine shows up in the video.😄❤🐘❤❤❤
That is her human mama for life :) I love how lundi always is so sweet to Adine too. In elephant nature park they say when a baby chooses a nanny the mother has to accept the baby’s choice I believe very much this is the case here khanyisa chose Adine and they all have to respect her choice human or not :)
@@rancidcrawfish omg did you see the clip where she chases timisa away Bec she got SO possessive over adine? Our little sunshine doesn’t play about her mama!!!!!!! Timisa is SO good natured and isn’t possessive adine narrated in the video :) I truly love the herd I wake up every morning to see if there’s a new video helps so much with my depression!!!
This old grandma in hospital for stent surgery (all is well) and woke to a video of my favorite girls and boys, and the always conforting sounds of them rustling thru the bush. A great treat, and thanks to Herd for the morning visit!
No matter how many times I watch this beautiful family I am in awe of their majestic beauty and grace. Intelligent and loving to their family and human family. I have been fascinated with ellies since I was a little girl and will continue to be. Thank goodness for the technology and for HERD so that we are able to to experience their journey. It is a small gesture however with the largest of meanings when I say thank you for all you do for them and for including us. ❤
See? Not only loving caring highly intelligent etc, our Herd is also very interested in fashion. I hear Beni is already looking for a Gucci blankie for next Christmas! 😄🧣😲 Lovely video. Thank you ❤️🐘💙🐘👍🙏
I adore elephants!! It's on my bucket list to hug a baby elephant! Thank you for this channel and all the great work you all do to these beautiful God-created creatures!!
We watched Khanyisa learn how to be an elephant and now Phabeni. Even though their personalities are different, they share one thing in common. They both are strong willed. With Setombe and Lundi as their adoptive mothers, they are learning different traits, that combined together, will be a force to be reckoned with, within the herd when they grow up. Strong leaders in their later years. So grateful to Herd for allowing us to watch it all lovingly unfold.
The sight of the elephants scratching against a tree always makes me laugh. Just like humans, a good scratch is everything 🥰 Being covered in mud and sand makes the elephants look like dusted pastries 🍩🍩 Little Phabeni is right in there with the big elephants. Hoping Adine did a tick check after wading through the bush. 😄
Thank you for all the hard work that you and your team do, which gives all your elephant’s such freedom. To be together in a herd is so important to them. ❤
Watching the Herd and seeing my adopted daughter Klaserie was amazing. It’s so enjoyable if one has and adopted Ellie to look for and watch. Knowing that I’m helping in her care, is a wonderful feeling. She’s a beautiful, well taken care of daughter. Watching daily from Florida. 💕🇺🇸🌺🌺💗
Hi Linda, I'm very happy that Klaserie is now able to learn from big Mama Setombe, how to care for a baby and when Phabeni is grown, mama will finally let Klaserie get a date, lol.
Good morning from Pennsylvania USA. How wonderful to see your beautiful elephants. They make my heart smile. They bring so much joy by watching them. Adine and all the Carers - you are amazing people! Sending love to you all & to the HERD.❤❤❤
I loved this from start to finish. Adines new pants were the "talk in the bush". So funny and interesting how one new smell is quickly picked up. Khanysia was tri colored today, Brown, pink and gold. Love seeing her and baby P interacting. Fishan is such a regal elephant. I wish he was still #1 or 2 but sadly his injury, allowed others to move up. Life in a hierarchy. Thank you for sharing your day. ❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️🐘
17:09 i wondered if Phabeni was teething after the video where he pressed his head against Setombe's leg. Good to see the little man thriving and hitting his milestones
I’m always in awe when I see Khanysia , you all worked so hard to save that sad , horrible wounded little baby and look what she has grown into . You should be so proud .❤ Not a good time for panbeni if he’s teething .
I work at Zoo. And our Rhinos were getting sunburned. We didn’t know at first what was happening with their skin. Once we figured it out we started applying suntan lotion to them daily before they went outside. I think in the wild, the elephants and rhinos have more resources to apply sand and mud to their skin to prevent sun burns. Even though at the zoo, we provided mud baths and sand for our Rhinos to roll in, it just wasn’t enough in captivity. We also now rub lotion until their skin. They absolutely enjoy all the rubbing and their skin shows it.
She could, but that’s why the allomothers keep her coated with mud and sand. Somehow the mother elephants have learned how to care for their albino offspring. It’s just amazing. The wild albino female can hardly be identified from the years of daily use of mud and sand. She looks almost like the “normal” members of her herd. But when Khanyisa was tiny, they always covered her with the umbrella during the summer months.
Scratching wood is popular today, no wonder 😄❤🌳. So beautiful weather 🌞. The baby hair on Phaben's head is adorable, it looks so soft ☺🐘. The smell of Adine's pants, ellies are very vigilant. Khanyisa is wonderful big sister 💞🐘🐘. Greetings and blessings from Northern Europe 🙏❤😊👋.
Awww now that Khanyesa has Lundi all just for herself as Mommabear, she is such a goood sister to Phabi! And he enjoys every moment with his family! All thanks to you Guys! You are remarkable!

Don't be sad Tokwe, there will be another baby for you
Our little Meisiekind is everyone's little darling. She can muzzle her way into any group without a second thought. This is the confidence with which she was raised by Adine/Carers, etc. and now litlle Phabeni is following down the same path. How great is it that this little bull is exuding so much self-confidence at such a tender age? Because our dear Friends at HERD know what they are doing. They are professionals in every sense of the word. It was nice catching a glimpse of the HERD doing what they do best. And our little Meisiekind has become a true "foodie." She eats with such gusto -that just watching her makes me hungry!
Beautiful to see that Phabeni is as confident around the elephants as Khanyisa used to be right from the beginning when she was little. They're used to newcomers and embrace them lovingly.
Wonderful time of the yr here as herd has all the natural food it can eat and a water hole for sand bath and trees to rub an itch. Phabeni looks so small among the herd Khanisya finally is warming up to the smallest herd addition--showing there is always more than enough love in the herd ,even if you have to generate some yourself. Thanks for posting.
When the captions said their heading away from the waterhole and into the bush, and we immediately see electrical wires strung up for miles, I'm reminded that Africa, although still full of wildlife, is becoming more and more a land of people instead of wildlife. This was a very nice video. The Herd immediately respond to Adine, and even notice a new pair of slacks on her.
There is still just something special about Khanyisa. I love all these dear ellies but Khanyisa just has a special place in my heart. Phabeni is just adorable and I love to watch him, too.
I’m always amazed how the elephants seem larger or smaller dependent on context. When they glide up real close to the camera, they are massive. Compared to each other, one elephant may be larger or smaller than I thought. The senior cows seem HUGE until a bull walks by them. I can see why it’s so important the cows are mostly a cohesive unit. There is strength in numbers when there’s a big old bull to manage. Elephant herd dynamics are fascinating. I just love this. 💜🐘💜
Good morning lovlies !!! I just had the pleasure of explaining your organization and the fact that elephants grumble talk. Thank you for loving and csring for them. ❤❤❤
Tokwe and Lundi are taking their beauty treatments very seriously today ❤️ Khanyisa is so protective of her little brother. She's putting to use everything she learned from Kumbura ❤️
Hello I'm Veronica watching in Northern Ireland. It is Sunday and I am watching Herd again as it is a little bit of heaven on earth. May God bless the elephants and every one of you carers for the tremendous work you do. Yours is my very favourite you tube channel and I love all the herd and most especially Adine and all of her team. You work so hard and the love respect and tenderness you all show the elephants in your care touches my heart. I want you to know how dear you are to viewers like me around the world. I could never hope to travel but through your kindness and thoughtfulness I can enjoy this experience in my own home even on days when I am unable to get out of bed. You are all angels performing God's precious will here on earth. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so so much Veronica. Your comment is so sweet and we truly appreciate it! Our whole team sends their love and we appreciate every word! Thank you so much for your ongoing support 🐘🤍
Good Afternoon Adine and carers. I am watching from the UK. I have been following Phabani since day one of his rescue and am now thrilled by watching your daily updates. I want to become one of his foster mums but cannot work out how to pay in ££'s 🤔 Please advise how I can do this. Thank you
Kumbura seems to be the nanny of the babies. She's so amazingly watchful and follows them consistently to make sure they're ok. It's so amazing to see.
Although I have been watching the Herd Orphanage for a long while now, I don't know how to recognize each one individually..I really appreciate Adine always addressing each Ellie by name❤❤❤
It’s wonderful to see tha, these Ellie’s have their own family. They’re so good at adopting and all carers are very knowledgable in making this happen. ❤❤❤
Tomorrow (Friday 12 April) is the last day to donate to HERD for Khanyisa and Phabeni and get your donation matched at 50% by Global Giving.🐘💕🍠 🍼 ( only donations under 50$ get matched at 50% )
I am always amazed and admiringly jealous of the close proximity you share with the elephants. Merely seeing their skin crinkled and muddy, rough and yet, flexible, blows my mind! It's a magnificent experience for you to be there with them!
Hi Everyone!! I dont know where to begin. Khanyisa still has to be number 1 to Adine but she seems to love Phabeni. It’s interesting how you were saying they were all checking out your new pants. Incredible how they distinguish new smells immediately. As always, thank you for sharing. Makes my day 😊
Its so peacefull, to see all the Ellies roam trough the bush and long grass, it seems timeles and without worries. I love to see little Phabeni, walking with the Herd it seems like he is there from the start, you could never tell that he just joined a view weeks ago. Have a wonderfull day. Groetjes uit Nederland

Yes, there's something about her, for me too!
How funny when Adine scolds Jabulani …his reaction definitely showed he knew he was in trouble…lol…kinda hard to send an elephant to ‘time out’!
It’s funny how Tokwe “snorts” at adine as if she understands what she’s saying.
She does as do they all. 😊
Amazing beautiful video about elephants❤🧡💛👍
Jabu still feels threatened by Fishan. Jabu still has respect for him. That is right. Fishan deserves his respect. Amazing!! ❤❤
Phabeni makes Khanyisa look soooooo big! ❤❤❤
Where is Mambo and Sebakwe?
Mambo was foraging and I have seen Sebakwe well submerged in the Dam gently sparring with another Ellie that I have not recognize
I am so thankful that you take such good care of these magnificent animals. ❤️
❤❤❤
Kumbura is a born mother, so sweet gentle and nurturing. I hope she gets her chance one day to have her own baby, she deserves it. Beautiful girl 🥰
I must admit I have today made a small one off payment towards Khanyisa's upkeep. 😊
Yay and she thx you, as do we all. 😊
@@vblackwell3347 Nice of you to say that.
@@ulla1623 Ahh, thank you.
She's putting to use everything she learned from Kumbura ❤️
its not your pants Adine its your loving way with the Elephants, and as far as Khanyisa thinks your her Mother.
Happy herd……a new baby to love and protect. Life is good.💙
Hello I'm Veronica watching in Northern Ireland.
I feel sad for Kumbura that she can't have her own baby as she clearly seems to want one. 😪
I love how Adine sweet talks to the elephants and all the little nicknames she has for them. They really seem to feel her love for them…🐘🐘🐘
I remember when Khanyisa was that small.
It was not long ago.
l’argile soigne les plaies aussi ✊🏼
I can never get enough of watching this beautiful herd of elephants!! Thank you so much for sharing these videos of your life with these magnificent creatures!🙏❤️❤️❤️❤❤❤❤
Khanyisa loves her Adine. I love how Adine sweet talks to her elephants.
Although I have been watching the Herd Orphanage for a long while now, I don't know how to recognize each one individually..I really appreciate Adine always addressing each Ellie by name❤❤❤
Im so glad Kanisa is not jealous of theew little one and is protective of him . 😊😊😊😊
Amazing, isn't it? I was holding my breath for nothing. 😅
It’s wonderful to see tha, these Ellie’s have their own family. They’re so good at adopting and all carers are very knowledgable in making this happen. ❤❤❤
Lovely walk in the bush. ❤💕
Tomorrow (Friday 12 April) is the last day to donate to HERD for Khanyisa and Phabeni and get your donation matched at 50% by Global Giving.🐘💕🍠 🍼 ( only donations under 50$ get matched at 50% )

@@kp8381 Awesome 👍🐘
