    Considering all that food y'all ate, $112 ain't bad at all! If you're a tourist on O'ahu, you'd probably struggle to stay under $100 too.

    We're from Hawaiʻi...we eat opihi, squid luau, pipikaula, etc. so all of that looks really delicious to try. Like Sean says, it's important to keep an open mind and I think more people need to remember that. 😄🤙🏽

    Update: at the 15:38 sec. .. a scene of us by the pastries and grocery store had to be cut off due to a copyright music strike that was added. However.. it doesn't disrupt what we bought and the prices we've shown. Just an FYI if you're wondering why the video has a sudden stop.

  • @allie3378

    Prices seem similarly lower compared to Hawaii prices. LiLiha bakery is way more expensive and Sams Club sushi is same price point.

    • @SeanKaleponi
      @SeanKaleponi  9 місяців тому +1

      Alpha Allie! Actually, you're right and Greenland prices weren't as bad as I thought. When you done out.. taxes are already included and no need to tip. So its cheaper than Hawaii. Mahalo for watching👍🤙

    Aloha Sean and Nhi! Wonderful footage of the scenery. I love the colored houses. Greenland and Iceland are on my bucket list for sure. Love that the people are friendly and are willing to share their indigenous culture with you. I saw some videos of Iceland and that country is super expensive! You should do a comparison video one day! As always, thanks for a wonderful, educational video.

      Aloha Misty! Mahalo for watching and Greenland is beautiful with the houses and nature. And the ppl and them showing us their indegenous culture was def heart warming.Can't wait to show you more with Illulisat and the Icebergs. We went to Iceland in 2019 Jan.. and I remember 2 plate lunches cost us 50 USD and that was ridiculous! I can't imagine it now so we made sure to take food from the breakfast buffet from our hotel every morning. Lol. But that would be an awesome video and comparison. 🤙👍

And the best part is watching the hosts Sean and Nhi. You guys have the best personalities. I laughed when you said Boba and Bowl, Bowl and Boba, and the man with the finger "read this" is hilarious. @SeanKaleponi 🍲🍰🍵Hey Sean What's up? ❤‍🔥Some of the food looked very unique, interesting and delicious. ❤‍🔥Definitely would like to try some. What shocked me was hardly any of the people there look Danish/European, I would never think I was in a European country. Almost everyone looks Asian....it looks like you were in one of the Asian countries. I was assuming most everyone there was going to have blonde hair, but it's the complete opposite.🎆🎇🎆

    The best part of traveling is eating. I love trying new foods and unless I have a political, or health reason I’ll eat almost anything. When I lived in Hawaii my neighbor would bring stuff for me to try. One day she brought something green when I asked what it was she said it was the vine growing outside her house. It didn’t kill me.

    little clarification: we have one of the most complex relationships with the european union and got one of the most if not the most asterix on the EU mentions because we are actually not really affiliated with the EU while Denmark is. Denmark dont own Greenland per se but we are a part of the Danish kingdom.

    You missed the national museum! The richness and skill of all the items produced from mere bones and driftwood made me realize that our "primitive" ancestors was actually more skilled than the average person today, who is specialized in only few functions. When you see the tool the Inuk not only fought icebears with - but hunted them too - you can only gain a deep respect for this little hardy people whose ancestors has withstood so much. And the art and beauty crafted into every item on display. Do not cheat yourself from this experience. It is likely obe of the worlds smallest national museums, but it will not leave the smallest impression
