That helped but stability also helped. At Chelsea whenever they were dealing with an overload of injuries in one spot in the field their solution was always to move Pulisic there. So at Chelsea he played attacking midfielder, he played both left and right wing, he played wing-back, he even played as a #9. Milan has kept him either on the right wing or at the attacking midfield. Also it helps him that Milan doesn't have the depth that Chelsea had. Part of the problem was that while Pulisic wasn't clearly worse than most of the players at his position, he also wasn't clearly better either. So partially due to the number of games they played and partially due to the depth, players at Chelsea got shuffled around a lot often based on who was hot at the moment. So he never had time to build up a rhythm to his play and I feel like he often tried to do too much because there was a sense each game he started that if he didn't score or assist he wouldn't be starting the next. So he often started trying to do too much instead of just playing within the system which would make him look really bad. At Milan there isn't the sense or feeling that if he doesn't score or assist in this one particular game he wouldn't be starting the next. I don't think Pulisic needs to feel like the star to play well, when he came in Leao was the star. What he needed was the stability to know that one middle of the road performance wouldn't put him back on the bench. And honestly that's a problem a lot of Chelsea attacking players had. There is so much quality there that only star players are every game starters and everyone else is rotated based on who's hot at the moment.
@@Jtve737by your point I guess Mbappe is an average player now that Real Madrid are losing points ever since he came. When in reality they are losing points because of the midfield with no Kroos and Modric starting now.
Pulisic is miles ahead of his USMNT teammates. He is also better than Leao yet Leao gets way more hype than Pulisic. Leao is the Dollar Tree version of Ronaldo.
Don't be ridiculous. The same league whose teams comfortably drew UCL matches this week with the best two teams from England's EPL - one of which, Man City, are acknowledged currently as one of the best two teams in the world.... That Serie A? 🤦
Why, because best numbers in seria a is not good enough for you? You don't get that just by luck. Just be honest, you are biased against an american in europe.
Pulisic has always had immense skill. but I think the difference is the fact he has stayed healthy

~~~ The Physio should get a shout out at Milan. A healthy Pulisic is a deadly Pulisic.
How is he deadly and they are continuously losing
@@Jtve737 because there other players
@@Canev821 or because he isn't that big of a difference maker
@@Jtve737 Their defense sucks
@@Jtve737He is though, there are 11 players on the field
And people still doubt him
He is American and there will always be haters.
Because he still isn't good 😂. This isn't a phenomenal job he is doing. This average. 😂😂 they literally are losing more since he arrived.
@Jtve737 that's mor of a coincidence than his fault. Dude is scoring goals and doing well. Not his fault that the midfield is ass.
@@Jtve737 he’s one person he can’t play every spot
#1 now. He scored today ❤
I rhink Christian is happy in life which means a lot! Happy for him.
What I find more impressive is that Leao has the same contributions and people are saying he is not world class anymore
That's because he should be way better but plays lazy. 75 percent of each game he's just walking around the pitch.
@@codyshuler8145 that is actually very sad that he just walks around the pitch half the time. Only Messi is allowed to do that... for some reason
Here after the inter milan match
No doubt Pulisic is an effective player but calling him one of the more "prolific 1 v 1" players in the world is a stretch.
He is better than Messi
Its early
He scored but did absolutely nothing the rest of the game haha
This tells you more about serie A than it does about pulisic 😂😂
You're a hater bro
Pulisic is still overrated and mediocre.
Okay, I'll bite. Explain exactly how he's overrated and mediocre.
@marktheshark7588 his goal against inter was world class. You just hate American players
