damn only one person said berserk. i guess it’s mroe so in the manga category, but people tend to put two and two together. for being considered the best story ever, berserk should be known much more than it is. maybe it’s due to the extremeness that it hasn’t been blown up as much as other mainstream animanga, but it’s a shame because it’s truly a masterpiece
You are right only small part of manga is in the anime but it deserves more recognition. Although it’s probably not for everyone due to its really dark fantasy arcs. Noooo that one guy who failed to explain 86 like whyyyy!!!! It's kinda underappreaciated but one of my high rated anime last year. It's a war, psychological, sci-fi, action anime. About a girl who become like a communicator that connect her to the pilot of robot who fought the war for the girl's country, they made a bond with each other. It's beautifully tragic and emotional. The action is great, the animation is good, the ost is amazing, it has one of the best ending ost in anime.
Just a few not mentioned in the video: 2x2 = Shinobuden, Jin-Roh, Akira, Hellsing, Serial Experiments Lain, Full Metal Panic, Ghost in the Shell, Gungrave. There are too many good ones to list them all.
I watched the whole series last year and i could say it's one of the best underrated animes out there!! The friendship in this anime & fighting scenes are out of touch!

I personally don’t think Chainsaw Man is oversexualized. I think it’s an aspect of it but it just adds depth to the buildup of the characters and overall the story, animation, action, etc. is super entertaining and from what people say the Manga is very good so I’m excited for future seasons!

I think a lot of people outside Japan who watch anime start Japanese from there because it’s a fun way however I always have to remember although Japanese in anime sounds so good sadly it’s not real life Japanese 😢
I'm not surprised that the italian woman knew the classic, here in Italy anime has been broadcast on tv since the '60s. Almost every single tv channel, public or private, that did broadcast cartoons featured anime; from Kyojin no Hoshi, Tiger Mask, Hokuto No Ken, Lupin the Third, Gundam, Mazinga Z, Captain Tsubasa, Attacker You!, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, and SOOOOO Many others... In fact I'm pretty sure that Italy is the second main market in the world for both manga & anime (after Japan of course), I think only France come very close to it and maybe Spain. The only real issue that we have is that with the exception of what was broadcast through Mtv and Berserk (which for this reason was broadcast only after midnight) every other anime is heavily censored in many ways, from cut content, modified dialogues, names that had been changed, and so on... Unfortunately the main culprit is a (self described) parents association with many ties to the vatican that somehow has so much influence on tv broadcasters that has been able to butcher so many animes for more than three decades... Luckily most fans know this so eventually they'll buy the home video releases of their favourite anime which are not censored, and legal streaming services had also been very useful in that regard.
What’s interesting to notice the difference between Japanese and foreign peoples anime favorites , is most Japanese like the popular classics (my hero academia, demon slayer) while foreigners seem to like the newer and more “unknown” types (chainsaw man)
Do other people also consider Chainsaw Man an overly sexualized anime? The way I see Denji & his obsession with women is that it purely comes from his lonesome upbringing so he's craving the attention of the opposite sex. There's at least merit to his behavior, unlike other anime where there's just completely random sexualization of the characters.
I tried reading it and also felt uncomfortable with how sexualized it was but if what you’re saying is true, it means that you have to progress a bit into the story to understand why he’s like that. Personally, I couldn’t handle that in the early chapters so didn’t make it far enough.
The anime that I rewatched now is Medabots, or Medarots, and it still holds up. The different types of Medabots are incredible, the characters are still amazing to watch and hear and the ANIMATION still holds up, especially during its tournament arc, and the Rubberrobo Gang are always a treat to see as a evil yet funny group. I also plan to watch LBX or Danball Senki next up because it too is pretty stellar in its own right.

The way I saw it was less of a criticism and more just personal taste. To me CSM was also a bit too horny. But I definitely agree with what you wrote
