- An impressive flag-lowering ceremony was held at Wagah Border in Lahore to mark Independence Day
People from all walks of life visited the Wagah border to attend the ceremony and express love and patriotism with their motherland.
I went here in this year 2024 and it feels me to become the member of bsf Hindustan Zindabad Love from India❤❤🇮🇳🇮🇳

Movement of Indian and Pakistani soldiers completely mirrored each other, did they have to practice together? Or were they originally from the same unit in British Indian army? The uniform as well, mirrors each other except color.

I always thought this ceremony was about pride and nationalism and hatred between the two...
Watching it, it's the heroes of each country giving an homage to each other. "You fought well, may we meet again". And the synchronicity of their steps reminds everyone that aside from religion, not much separates Pakistan from India. With balance and wearing the same uniform (color aside), with having nuclear weapons on both sides, if both sides keep proving their strengths, then war may be avoidable.
It's a terrible version of finding peace... but it's (mostly) peace nonetheless.

Not everything in life is serious.nchanging of the guard at Buckingham Palace is not a spectacle like this. Well done! Great entertainment and crowd on both sides loved it, as did I.
