    According to you which non surgical and non temporary treatment name best treatment for anti aging treatments for face.

      Hi @waleedmuhammad6235,
      There are few "permanent" treatments, and any treatment will not stop the aging process. While your expectations are not realistic, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) can be a lasting treatment as it improves skin quality from within, but it doesn't stop aging. Lower eyelid surgery for eye bags is one of the longest lasting cosmetic surgeries, and it can be permanent for some people. You can refer to these videos about it, along with another video about why there very few "permanent" treatments:

    Dr. I have issues regarding to my puffy eyes when smiling how to treat that? I will share my photos

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  Місяць тому

      Hi @chenjr1410,
      Puffy under eyes only when smiling can be due to the contraction of the muscle behind the lower eyelid called the orbicularis oculi, or due to skin bunching in the lower eyelids. While this can be treated non-surgically, the results are quite subtle. You can refer to these videos about it:

    Doctor,i have ptosis(congenital) on left eye and hooded eye on right ,is it possible to treat my eyes and make both eyes symmetrical??

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  15 днів тому

      Hi @vendhanvv5616,
      It is possible to correct both hooded eyes by trimming stretched eyelid skin, and congenital ptosis by treating the weakened or stretched levator muscle that lifts the eyelid. However, it is important to know that no one has perfectly symmetrical eyes, or faces as both sides of the skull are formed separately before birth. 1-2mm difference in eyelid height is normal, and unnoticeable to others. You can refer to these videos about why the upper eyelids, and the face are normally not perfectly symmetrical:

    Hi doctor! I am medical student in 3rd year.i have congenital severe ptosis of one eye. I heard about that after surgery
    1- you can't close your eye during sleeping.
    2- my friend who has ptosis operated after that his eye become more large than un-
    affected
    3- after passing time lavator muscle become loose again
    4- i am afraid for being opertion because of causes mentioned above.
    Please guide me should we operate or not.. please tell me whole expenses etc

      Hi @Random-xd7yo,
      The outcome of ptosis correction surgery depend on the surgeon performing it, so results can't be generalized based on the results of one person you know.
      1. my patients can close their eyes during sleep after surgery
      2. ptosis surgery done with insurance is only for eyelid function. I don't accept insurance in my practice, and I perform blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery) with ptosis correction when needed
      3. your eyelids blink thousands of times a day, every day, so to expect permanent correction is unreasonable
      4. whether you are a candidate for ptosis surgery, and the type of procedure needed are determined with a physical examination. Cost is also determined after a physical examination.
      I hope this clarifies things for you.

    I can't blink after 10 days of ptosis surgery, is it normal? What do i need to do? I speak from Brazil

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  Місяць тому +1

      Hi @skapuska,
      Sorry to hear about your problem. You should be able to blink after ptosis surgery. I actually have my patients blink right after surgery while they are still in the operating room, so further adjustments can be made if needed. Since eyelid ptosis surgery so precise, any surgeon experienced in it knows that further enhancement for overcorrection, or undercorrection are sometimes needed. I suggest you follow up with your surgeon about out your results. I hope this helps you.

    Non cosmetic surgery treatments for looking younger for example fat grafting face not like temporary treatment

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  Місяць тому

      Hi @waleedmuhammad6235,
      Fat grafting is actually two surgical procedures, as harvesting fat, and placing fat both require surgery, and they are surgeries that likely need to be repeated because 30-70% of grafted fat is absorbed soon after surgery.
      Also, the first significant change in facial aging is volumetric loss of bone, muscle, fat, and soft tissue. Grafted fat alone cannot treat facial volume loss because most volume is lost at the bone level, and grafted fat cannot be placed at the bone level because of inadequate blood supply for grafted fat to survive.
      You can refer to this video about the comparison of facial grafted fat, to filler for treating volume loss - ua-cam.com/video/b3-_N1a9WQ8/v-deo.html

    Hai doctor sir how are you...?
    I have 2 questions to ask..
    1 - iam 21 years old suffering from aga my doc said it's time to start finastrade I was under medication till 18 ( topical minoxidil) he told me not to take finastrade till 21 . Now he is saying that I can start finastrade. What is your opinion about this doctor is 21 a good , right age to start with fin. Will it affect brain development? Why iam asking is I am dreaming for higher education which requires a lot of study so will it affect my brain in any way..?
    2 - can I use hair fibres on my crown which is thin , if so is it okay to wash my hair everyday with an everyday shampoo . Will washing hair everyday cause any harm
    Please respond

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  Місяць тому

      Hi @user-mw2sx6cs7t,
      As long as you have your doctor's prescription, 21-years-old is a good age to start finasteride as it won't affect physical development at your age. Finasteride does not affect brain development, and should have no cognitive effects.
      You can shampoo every day as long as you're using a reputable shampoo. Hair thinning is caused by genetics, not by washing your hair. I hope this clarifies things for you.
