I am a Nigerian and from my own personal experience i can tell you that Gambians are one the best people in Africa,peaceful, humble,down to earth, not materialistic and always satisfy with thier life.
Iam a Nigerian watching 4rm Malta Island. Gambians are good pple to live with. They are open minded pple. They are not selfish pple. They cannot eat alone without including you as a person. I haven't been to the country b4 but i met alot of them while traveling.

I am a Nigeria. I lived in the Gambia (Serekunda) for 2 years and three month before I left for Europe, I must say Gambia's are very lovely people, when I was there pau umar my friend's Mum will cook food and bring to me and my friends to eat when things are rough for us, also during lunch time you can the way they come together and eat, if you are a stranger you are welcome to wash your hand and join them. The must peaceful country in west Africa. I pray to God I go visit again. Thank (Jerejef) you to the people of the Gambia. One love.
I can relate to that. Many Nigerian professionals have helped the country and were being paid by the Nigerian govt then, I don't know about now. I still love The Gambia and wish to visit again in the future.

More so before the dictatorship began, when many high school teachers would also be other races from Asia and Europe particularly Irish nationals, British national and even French nationals. Most were hired others came through missionaries this remains to some extent. Credit and thanks to all of them, but many were put off by a dictatorship in the country some left some stayed.
I just adore the way the woman smiles, which is clearly from the bottom of her heart. It must have been tough at first even as an African, but it is just amazing how she managed to make it!

The Gambia is a very nice country, the people are so good and discipline,no challenges of any kind. I lived in serrenqunda in samore toure, street, for years.The people really appreciate and value strangers. I love the opportunity and expositions of the people's of the Gambia culture.

There is no country in West Africa where you will not find a large colony of Nigerian mostly Igbo merchants. Igbos are the greatest merchants of West Africa. You also find a lot of Yorubas all over west Africa. Actually one out of five Afican is a Nigerian. And also all Bantu people that inhabits central , southern and parts of East Africa migrated from southern Nigeria and Easter Cameroons thousands of years ago. So all Africans have some kind of Nigerian connection. I love Nigerians. They are a great nation of peoples.

I have been to The Gambia at least 3 times, met a lot of Gambians in the US and they are very good and friendly people.
