Lovely woman in the background sort of reminds me of Jennifer Connelly had she embraced her true inner dark side after the end of Requiem for a Dream...
This was the last song they played @ the Tabernacle in ATL. Shame after all these years and how many times they played this tune at the clubs I used to dance at that this is the first and last time I may see them live. I still enjoyed myself 🎉✨
How uncanny. I just commented on a Friends FB page on the photo she posted and told her it reminded me of my days in Amsterdam back in the 70s where this place called the Paradisio played "Dark Disco" and ZAP! I came upon this!

@@forthework1473 HI over there. I guess you would have liked it. :-) I'm just a simple dark metal head who also likes electronic sounds and I can only report from the perspective of a teenager in the 90s, but for me it was a fantastic decade ! I live in East Germany in a small village and even here you had the feeling of endless freedom and possibilities after the reunification of Germany. In the mid to late 90's the gothic scene was at its peak as I perceive it. Thousands of bands were forming and some were making unique music. Even in our rural area there were regular dark disco, ebm, medieval, dark/gothic metal events and live concerts in cult cellars and industrial halls. Real scene greats came even to small towns in the countryside and played in front of an adequate audience. Besides that there were of course the big highlights like the WGT, but you didn't have to wait the whole year to meet bands and like-minded people back then. Some bands even made it into the mainstream for a short time. Goth... I miss those days... Today, there seems to be nothing left of that.... no more local events - even most conventional discos have died out. I don't even know what young people do on the weekends these days. That's one of the reasons why I lost most of my contact to the dark scene - but the music stayed with me. :-) It feels like the scene in my area is almost extinct, but maybe it all takes place online nowadays... ? gothic greets
@@iconayl1299 Thank you so much for sharing that. I was a 90s kid in a northern midwest town in the U.S.. god fucking damn it this is so fucking good! AHHHHHHHHH!
The album picked up techno synth Disco the way I like it after the 10:30 mark! 👍 Good choice of tunes for alternative interesting sound.
Cool!! Reminds me of those industrial goth techno box sets from the 1990s by labels like Cleopatra.
