Wonderful match play by Sweden pressing England early on. The Jakobsson goal was brilliant! The Swedes worked so hard in this tournament and gave me so many wonderful moments not the least of which was watching Miss Blackstenious perform on the pitch. There’s a woman of great physical condition and pure feminine beauty.
What about Fischer and that fantastic header off the goal line to deny England a late equalizer? She’s retiring from the game so what a way to go out strong. She’ll look back and remember that play with earned pride.
I’m so impressed with so many of the players on both teams. Very skilled match play but England was sloppy and playing some daft football defensively. That first 15-20 minutes of the match they looked lost on the pitch.
They had a better second half regaining control.
Enjoyed this match. I salute both teams and congratulate Sweden on taking home 3rd place.
Looking forward to seeing the final tomorrow.

Schokoladensoose Sweden dominated the whole match against the Netherlands! Even the british commentators said so! After the 90 minutes, the netherlands somewhat played good and managed to get a goal, but in the first 90 minutes, Sweden should have had at least 2 goals. Really unlucky. Sweden fought the hardest with a lot more passion, and playef better.

i like how in women's football/soccer not only the players are much more civilised, but also the youtube comments.. that's how sportsmanship should be, and not players rolling on the floor faking injuries or fans fighting each other in the streets..

Congrats to Sweden for beating our girls fair and square, I always respect Swedish players from both Men and Women to be clean and not dirty cheaters. Glad England at least tried to put up a fight but in the end they were too tired. That's football for you. Now both sides from today's game can go home where they belong and next time the girls will be better than ever and they will punch through that barrier that is the Semi-Final. It’s difficult to raise your game for a match that means nothing. Both teams did well to make an entertaining game of it. Btw VAR needs a fourth official that understands the hand ball rule, the whole tournament has been a disaster for VAR.
It came off her chest - it was never hand ball! Never the less, these ladies have shown that womans football is on the rise. Great quality game.
