Fair Snape Fell Wild Camp | Lanshan 1

- Friday 24th May 2019 what better way to start a bank holiday weekend than a wild camp on Fair Snape Fell in the heart of the Trough of Bowland with a couple of friends.
We parking in the lay-by at the end of Startifants lane then head up to the summit of Parlick 432 metres before heading along the fell top over to our camping destination Fair Snape Fell 510 metres, please excuse the wind noise in some places as it was blowing a hooley.
We pitched the tents ( Lanshan 1 ) just below the summit of Fair Snape and sorted the gear before we lost all the light and then cooked up our tea on the JetBoil before relaxing with some red wine ( Vimto )
The weather had given clear skies for the night so was hoping of some nice star shots but unfortunately this didn't occur and we ended up in the cloud for most of the time, didn't stop us having fun and getting some great shots through the night though.
In the morning the views were much clearer so I got the DJI Spark out to capture some aerial footage before packing up and heading home and as always Leave No Trace

Looked and sounded a wild day/night but nice and cozy in the tent and a real canny view. Sure it was not Vimto, proved by the Brucie impersonations on the summit lol. Bit of a change on the morning mind and a nice bit of drone footage, cheers Alan

Lanshan are a great tent, love mine, can be a faff to set up at first but once you got the height right its easy. Thanks for watching and the sub 👍

@@grahamscothern4319 good stuff, enjoy it. Top tip, the front door hook snapped on mine, they're not very strong so I've swapped it for a small karabiner which has made the tent much stronger in wind 👍
