I was at the game. When Baylor was in the lead 28-3, they showed a few clips of the schooner crashing on the big screen and all the Baylor fans pointed at us and laughed. They even gave me a high five! A little chill came through the air at that moment as Sooner Magic began to fill the stadium!
Baylor and TCU both are really bad about not showing any class considering they’re Christian schools. None of the other Big 12 schools really did that. Every one of them goes after OU because our Sooners are the STANDARD. Hell even Texas doesn’t stoop that low. The two teams I despise every year are Baylor and TCU. TCU likes to head hunt BAD. I’m gonna be glad when us and Texas leave this conference behind. You can blame the commissioners and the other teams for it. Big 12 lost more money losing their money schools than they gained bringing in more schools
Watching this in 2021 and the heart attacks the current team gives me can’t hold a candle to this 2019 team. Some true thrillers with Jaylen though no doubt!

In this game, people found out why Jalen Hurts, it is often said, is a man amongst boys .... in spite of not having CD the TD, a poor showing by OU defense in the 1st half, and having had the disappointing three (3) turnovers, Jalen Hurts never gave up and just kept coming back, coming back and coming back against all odds and recorded the most epic comeback in OU history...what a lion-hearted and relentless warrior he is!
As a Oklahoma fan I said at halftime that “ I believe in sooner magic” I was pretty depressed at halftime but my god they actually won! I lost my voice from screaming at the tv all night from good and bad things and I cried with joy when we won. #BOOMERSOONER

This is true, but the defense in the 2nd half is the real MVP. Totally flipped the switch, held them under 100yds and bailed them out. Kudos to the players and Grinch!
@@sponsurdSponsurd, your point is well taken .... however OU needs to have a defense that is consistent and is also equal to the task as the offense. Those KSU and ISU games and the 1st half of BU game should not happen - the defensive lapses, to an elite program like the OU's football enterprise.
That second half Oklahoma team was a national contender for #1. Our defense played better than it did all year & of course Jalen played like a heisman candidate should. Super proud of our guys and BOOMER SOONER! I never doubted that we had it in us on god.

He peaked against Tech, hitting windows and throwing receivers open. Now he throws ducks and is gifting teams easy turnovers. Are we sure he's not playing the long con for Bama?
The biggest problem with Hurts is a good majority of OU's turnovers this season were his fault. Between fumbles when running to a few bad decisions when throwing he's directly responsible for a majority of those.

Man there was some hard hitting going on.. I mean Hurts took some hard hits and didn't bow down. Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray were probably the two best QB'S that played at OU but I'm not sure they'd a been able to take those hits the whole game..
Honestly I think Hurts is above Murray. He's a powerhouse that just eats hits and if our defense would have been better this year, he would have had a season more like Mayfields with a guaranteed playoff spot.
I'll admit i turned it off when baylor went up 21-3. I knew OU still had a chance but it just was not going well on either side of the ball. Something needed to happen to shake things up a bit. So i turned the game off. My doing this has sparked come backs before. Older people will remember the '86 nebraska game. Turned that off too. Anyway so im no longer watching the game and people are calling..." You watching the game", me "no" and they are saying man they're coming back turn it on and im like no i can't now I'll jinx it. I record all games so i can watch it later. I didn't turn the game back on. So by not i secured the victory. I regret not hearing Toby's call though.

As it turns out the 3 turnovers OU had were the only reason Baylor was even in the game. Heck Hurts fumbled on the 1 yd. line otherwise OU wins by 10 comfortably. Just an unreal comeback.

Oregon vs TCU a few years back was 31-0 Oregon at the half. TCU won the game in double OT I believe.
