Carlos black people had a major part in inventing heavy metal belive it or not. Orlando greenhill Western music (especially) comes from Classical Music, even blues and jazz. New Orleans was the city where people from all over the world has arrived during the migrations. The Americans breath Classical culture. Pentatonic scale is something from Asia. Great band. Regardless of color. I think you have to look past that. You will find black people have always been behind the scenes in Rock n roll. They pretty much invented it. Its root is in blues.
Saw these guys a few times back in the 80's, I think I stil have some play money from when they played Rock Without The Roll. They Always put on a great show
Good band not receives by rock and metal well; because they refused to give up the punk rock edge they have. Back then every had to be pigeon holed into one genre and especially if you were black.
Imagine how cool these guys might have been doing more the Jeans and leather look. Never heard of them before tonight. Refreshing to see a Black Metal band. Breaks stereotypes. I know there's another or others, but still.
badass song great vocals and looked as if rick james was cool as hell, too bad the band name was weak. they should ve come out with something more interesting

Great band! The band I was in Sacred Knight opened for them in 1984 at at The Dancing Waters Club in San Pedro California. 🤘🏼

This deserved to be an 80s metal anthem
This was their best song IMO. For some reason they pushed their poppy song, Rock Without the Roll.

Check out Mother's Finest, Living Colour, Fishbone, 24/7 Spyz
Me too. Just heard about them today. Looking for some songs on here now to check them out.
@1:37, Dave Chapelle when he played Prince lmao. I love Sound Barrier.

I remember buying an album by these guys back in the 80s and none of my friends had a clue who they were .Great band ,thanks for posting.
People forget that sb also backed Alex masi
Only true metalheads will unterstand how awesome it is
1:36 I love ho the singer is concerned that the guitarist may be shredding to hard and tries to calm him down.
no hes' a wizard and hes puppeteering this guitar solo..
PansBox11 LoL! Yeah, that's it.

I wish i had heard these guys years ago! Such raw power and awesome talent, they should of made it big. My God the 80s was so amazing for metal!
Not bad. Up there with most other metal of the 1980's.
I think Iron Maiden copied their sound.
SB still rules!! Love them!
Bernie great material!
Excellent E.P. "Born To Rock"; SB best release in my opinion.
Regards from Spain.
