Is the Husqvarna 545 Mark II a good firewood chainsaw?

- It's time to put the Husqvarna 545 mark II to work as we scout out a new location for firewood. We head out to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains with the hopes of loading up the Ford F250 with the first firewood haul of the season. We're told this spot holds a good chunk of lodgepole pine- tall, straight trees with few knots, which should fit the bill perfectly.
The Husqvarna 545 mark II was fantastic in it's first true test. It had no trouble bucking up the trunk for firewood, and was light and nimble when it came to limbing. So far I have absolutely no regrets with this purchase.

@@yonmusak thank you, I was wondering that to be honest. It was the first day using it so factory sharpening maybe was/isn’t great?
@@FirstCrackFarm I think it's more likely you you cut something with metal in it very very early on when testing the saw. Maybe try another to be sure. It didn't seem to be throwing chips (hard to tell as I was watching on my phone).
