As the conflict in the Middle East escalates, my heart goes out to the innocent people who have lost their lives through no fault of their own. Humanity has progressed significantly. If there's one lesson leaders in the involved countries should learn from history, it's that pursuing absolute justice through revenge leads to a never-ending cycle of self-destruction, claiming more innocent lives and leaving no one victorious. My theory about 7th October incident - I think Israeli PM and intelligence already knew that the attack would happen and allowed hamas themselves. But they didn't expect that it would be that bad. Thank you for this informational episode. I am a student of International Law and seeing international organizations failing like a house of cards on this issue is really concerning.
I believe that the answer to Terrorism is never Genocide. I also believe that it has been 70+ years of Modern Israel's existence and it is very much part of our reality now. A few Arab powers tried to change it initially, but it really didn't go anywhere. Against, this backdrop, I do believe that a two state solution is the only practical way of achieving peace in the region. I know that a lot of experts would like to disagree with the two state solution as well, but then we don't live in a perfect world. We need to approach this issue by not presuming what was there, but what is. That's how geopolitics works.
Now coming to your analogy of Sarnath, I do believe there are some problems with it. For me it is a false analogy. Correct me if I am wrong.
First, there is an inherent difference between Indic and Abrahmic religions. Sarnath, doesn't become important just because a Buddhist text makes it important, but because Buddhists along with majority of historians believe that the place holds an important place in Buddha's life. However, when you look at the Tanakh, Jerusalem, Judea and the Kingdom of Israel, do have historical as well as scripture-al significance for the Jews. The Christian or Muslim structures in the place were erected much later. Also, unlike in Sarnath, the Jews were forced to leave the place or be converted with the rise of Christianity as well as Islam.
Second is the inherent conflict between the religious books. A wise man once said, if you just consider one book to be the ultimate source of truth, then you're bound to become a zealot. And both these religions do tend to focus more on the books than on the traditions. While Torah and Tanakh warn of false prophets, Quran calls all the previous books to be corrupted by Shaitan. If you look at Indic religions, the same yardstick doesn't apply. Buddhism was able to criticize a lot of practices of Hinduism because both these religions focus more on traditions that pass on over generations rather than strict interpretations of some books held sacred.
I have more points on this, but the bottom line is that the analogy doesn't work here. As, I mentioned earlier correct me if I understood it wrong.
Coming to the last part of your video, with the focus on two state solution, Israel has previously supported this. They don't now, but I am hopeful that if a permanent solution is to be achieved, they will again. Even their past PMs have unequivocally reiterated their positive insistence on Two-state solution. However, many influencial groups, countries and organizations from the pro-palestine camp have rejected it in the past which has led to increased instants of violence. I think you missed out on this part.
So, whether whether anyone is pro-Israel or pro-palestine, they have to be pro-humans first. And in any of these former cases, I think we will be doing injustice to humanity by being inhumane towards the other group.
It is probably just my wishful thinking, but I want to live in a world where I can say Long Live Israel 🇮🇱 and Long Live Palestine 🇵🇸 in the same sentence.

How come these countries never allowed them to even practice their religion. And this all happened in what we call as our modern history. Even the greatest of Ottoman Emperors allowed the Jews to practice their religion. But not their descendants? Why? Even their religious book is totally anti-semitic.
I also didn't like the analogy mainly because of the reason that currently there is a strong suspicion being spread by the goons faction of the majority religion in the country against the minority religions like Sikh, Buddhist, Christians while already having success against Muslims. The analogy in the video will only cause more suspicions and insecurity to rise among the majority.

This Isreal- Iran war is fast becoming a war between NATO and Russia- China- Iran.
