Got7 has a lot of international popularity due to their diversity in race and profiency in languages. where they lack is in a Korean fanbase but that to is growing with every comeback. JYP did really well putting Jackson on variety shows he's done well and really made a name for himself and the group! but now they need to put more of the members into acting. Jr gained a lot of interest doing acting even though he's only had supporting roles he needs to be a lead now he's more than ready also mark has a pretty strong Fandom in Korea and should do acting also. dramas will give the members more chances to be seen on regular bases by the public both of them can really bring in a strong Korean fanbase with acting.
Rubiyanto Irsan that's rite, Got7 have more international fans than in Korea itself :( that's what make them hard to win on music show. Most of international fans dunno how to vote beside on website & buy the album / song.
Yeah it's probably because of the members ie. BTS is a group that consists fully of 100% Korean members and their Korean fanbase is pretty extensive as well as their overseas fanbase but with Got7, only 4 members are 100% Korean and the rest are from Ameri-Thai-Kong so it would make sense to have a lot of people from their home countries supporting them, thus giving them more worldwide recognition than a group like BTS who only have Korean members.
If i ever went to korea and wanted to attend a live performance i would be very embarrassed to do the fanchant ,i'll be saying names randomly then fandoms will be kicking my ass for ruining the moment xD

Well do realize that digital is the most important factor in winning. Unless the song is public friendly or they have a big fandom in Korea, getting a good digital score really is hard. It's not the Korean fans' fault, you can support them by buying the ticket thingy and stream their music on melon as an internationally fan too which was what I did :)
