I too had an African Grey about 30 years ago. Bonded with me only. Tolerated other people. Used to sit and watch me from his perch and yawned when I did. Coughed when I did. Etc.
Lived for me. Alas, I didn't have the time to spend with him. Started pulling his feathers out.
Sold him to a couple that gave him all the love and attention and affection he needed ❤.
You'd have to go outside or in another room to talk about anything private 😆🤣, he's a man in a parrots body "ooooooo whatcha doin?" the sentences are amazing. Love ya Gizmo, you're so hilarious. ❤️🇬🇧❤️

I love watching Gizmo, he is amazing and very smart. We also have a grey African parrot that is very chatty and speaks two languages , Polish and English.

His speech reminds me of word salad speech some people have after a stroke. You can see they are communicating with you but scrambles words. Gizmo definitely is communicating, not just mimicking

i’m so so serious Gizmo is a hoot. Plz Plz consider the AGT like i’ve mentioned as i truly believe he would win as this bird is smart and funny. Simon and Howie would get a kick out of him and a million dollars would go a long way to care for him and if he had friends. Gizmo 😂beats any of the other birds . He actually follows your conversation where the others don’t and he beats all other by 100%

Yes, he is going through a big molt. He lost 5 flight feathers in a pretty short time. My conure is going to be due for hers in a few weeks.
