I really like your videos, Great day on the water this video answers questions I asked on another video. What lenght, weight are your poles. What lb test are you using also. I picked up an 8' catfish rod and I think smaller and lighter equipment is better choice for me.
I think 2 of my carp/cat rods are between 7' to 8' in length. I know some people use 12' for carp. I'm using 40 pound braid on both reels for those rods. If you are looking for a good reel that i like a lot for cats and carp is the Kast King Sharky III baitfeeder spinning reel the 5000 series. Works reel well, and had no problems with it yet.

For the white bass run, I’ve caught a few but I don’t know if it started yet. I haven’t been out in the last week though.
