Out of date? Poor performance. Since the only other ARM CPU maker for smartphones is Apple it is a bit of a two horse race. Did you really mean to write poor performance? Yes, Apple is faster, but "poor performance". I am confused.
If I remember right, back in the Cortex A7/15 and A53/57 days QC DID design their own cores, it is why they had an architectural licence. BUT by the time they got into silicon, They were never more than half a generation ahead at best and it cost them a fortune. That is why they stopped doing it.
Qualcomm should have went with 9 or maybe 10 A720 cores. Plus Qualcomm should look at dropping those 2 - A520 2.3 GHz effciency cores, and just use more of those A720 cores instead. They should have used 7 - 9 of those A720 cores, and just lower the clock rates for any number of the A720 after 4 cores.
Depends on efficiency at different clocks. The a520 is a smaller core and probably uses less power for the same performance, or else why even have anything else? And the X4 is needed because even an 720 with more power maxes out and doesn't match the X4's performance with less (once you get so much juice into the 720 it peaks)

Qualcomm's GPU was already much stronger, and with 8 Gen 3 the CPU gets roughly the same results as A17 Pro in Geekbench@@nooffense911
apple chips cant even handle multi tasking and there are videos proving that, they are only excelling in geekbench but on all other benchmarks their scores are trash, specially on wildlife 3d showing how bad apple chips are when it comes to stability, not to mention they have the most restricted OS which can only do like 30% of what android can.
@@nooffense911they actually slain apple chips in gpu performance from sd8g2. It's just the way android works and since the cpu comes from arm, they kinda depend on them. Sometimes newer arm cores aren't that much better than the previous one, leading to the same performance cpu as before. If you only replied "in your dream" then i m happy that my dreams are true lol😂😂
SIIICK.
ARM core designs are out of date with poor performance. If QC wants to release a top product then it should design it's own cores.
Out of date? Poor performance. Since the only other ARM CPU maker for smartphones is Apple it is a bit of a two horse race. Did you really mean to write poor performance? Yes, Apple is faster, but "poor performance". I am confused.
How do u know !?
If I remember right, back in the Cortex A7/15 and A53/57 days QC DID design their own cores, it is why they had an architectural licence.
BUT by the time they got into silicon, They were never more than half a generation ahead at best and it cost them a fortune. That is why they stopped doing it.
On paper it looks like very power hungry chip.
Qualcomm really stepping up!
More better yeah
Depends on efficiency at different clocks. The a520 is a smaller core and probably uses less power for the same performance, or else why even have anything else? And the X4 is needed because even an 720 with more power maxes out and doesn't match the X4's performance with less (once you get so much juice into the 720 it peaks)
Silicon real estate costs money.!
No. Prime cores are important for emulation. So again, NO they should not drop the higher clocked prime core.
u joking right?
Samsung or TSMC made chips? That's important.
I thought I covered that in the video. It is TSMC.
Why Google Tensor ? Why. It will share Exynos faith, i think.
Google Tensor?
all these are quite useless if not many software actually utilise the features
I'm only going with team Google.
Good to see qualcomm making good processors that are efficient. Even if samsung gets a higher clocked version, their software is still horrible. My S23 ultra has touch issues and has started lagging. My older iphone 12 pro max is still fast and smooth after 3 years. This is why apple will always be ahead of samsung.
My s21 is running just as well as it was running brand new. Stfu iSheep.

Isheep😂😂😂
yes, after few years of frustration with samsung, i switch to other brands
My S22+ still running smoothly without any issues.
