You should capitalize on making shorts about current UA-cam business. Elon musk Twitter deal is interesting.
I think what it is, is that they obviously needed a manufacturer to produce the drink for them, and in order for congo brands to actually create the drink, they required a certain amount of equity in prime that may even equal half, i don't know the numbers. But they could own 12.5 percent each, it depends on how many investors are and how much they also own. They may just be the controlling shares in the company.
No way they probably own 25.5% each and the rest depending how on each investor 12 or 6% if more invested. Ksi just stated they can make changes if they wanted to. They couldn’t do that without if they don’t own a higher percentage than the other investors. But I get you

@@dozaishere that was specifically shot down by both logan, and JJ, most notably from logan while he was talking to a potential investor, if you don't want the SEC to shut you down, you don't lie to investors. So they specifically debunked that specific scenario you mention.

He’s not saying they own 50 percent of the business. He’s saying there able to dictate because there the spokesman. You don’t need 50 percent of the company to have control. Basically if the other investors refuse to listen to you they lose the value proposition of you promoting the product if you decide to walk away, so even if you don’t have control through sheer voting rights you have control through influence and power dynamics
i'm not 100% on my awnser, but we can somewhat compare this to Mr Beasts brand, Mr Beast asks companys that already have an astablished place to make theses foods and he pays them, the company making the food make a certain percent of the profit from each item sold. Where KSI for say doesn't have the experience to maintain the factorys to produce the brand (prime), KSI decide to go to another Brand that has those factorys already and pays to use them and they have the staff and manager that are able to maintain these factorys. It takes a lot to maintain a functionally and well keeps brand
ps: not sure if the brand that produces prime gets a certain percentage for each item sold, it's just a comparison

This isn’t uncommon for multiple people to own a business. This is literally what happens. Someone needs money to grow there business they sell a percentage then there’s multiple people who own a part of the business. Honestly pretty obvious stuff.

I have a feeling the company reached out to Logan Paul and KSI to promote their new drink which was more or less just a rebrand of a previous brand they owned. All they did to change it was tweak the ingredients to make it healthier and build a brand around it that Logan and KSI were to promote in return for a percentage of the profits. From what I can tell the 3D energy drink was already in most retail stores so that sales avenue was already established prior to Logan and KSI joining. So to think that Logan or KSI have more rights to the company than the original guys who own all of the manufacturing and curated all of the retail partnerships is absurd

I’ll explain something my guys:
1: KSI or Paul are not mentioned in any legal paperwork as owners but as mere associates.
That tells us: they are just “owners” for Social Media.
It’s not uncommon, people in the industry with nice connections do it.
Probs this Max dude was the plug for the deal.
And of course they “create” a story of how the idea was born to continue the media image as owners.
But in reality probably it’s just a Marketing Stunt. In which they will continuously have a % of sales due to the marketing campaign or in some cases they just pay them upfront X amount.
The real winners of course.. the plug and the real owners.
Then the manufacturer who keeps making bags.
At the end the influencers.

Some times, there are Representation (or some similar name), which are the guys who attend the partners meetings in representation of the “lil dudes (guys who have so small equity that don’t even bother going so they send someone)” yet still this representation has to appear on the documents.
Example:
Logan Paul 1% ownership
Represented by XXX on board meeting XXX.
There is a business saying that goes:
If it’s not on paper it’s not real.
In conclusion:
They don’t own anything but have a nice deal for the branding they are creating (or created) around the beverage.
