I've never seen MSU so out of character in all my 65 years. I'm an LSU fan but I don't think LSU is crazy better than State. Something isn't right in Starkville. I hope y'all play better down the road.

I think we got punched early and never shook it off. Nerves and self-doubt compound the mistakes as you attempt to execute the new offense against a really talented team. AND your QB had a monster game.

We may not have NFL stars (MSU) but have a seasoned team with good SEC grade athletes. MSU shows that our coaches are OUTMATCHED. We need to start over next season. Our players are poorly coached, don't know what to do, it looks like they goofed off all off season. The coaches have to go.

We consistently put guys in the league, we have talent. This to me seems like pure game plane and coaching issues. Chris jones, Forbes, Dak, Sweat, Simmons, the list goes on and on. It’s usually defense i will grant you that, but this team is not talent limited. They ain’t winning a nation title with this team but it sure shouldn’t be blown out by LSU basically ever. Unless its 2019 LSU

@@bradyb2233I don’t think y’all are giving LSU enough credit for the team that they are becoming. Everyone should’ve seen this coming. It’s year two for a head coach who wants a title and has never had the talent in his career to do so. He’s now got it. LSU fans saw it coming. You’re taking too much credit from Mississippi state. They’re a better team than y’all think. LSU is just that good. Especially on offense

@@coreyrogers5358I agree. They are a far more superior team across the board, but State flat out played bad from any perspective. And that’s not a good sign. Blocking ghosts, online pulling against each other, not helping, throwing one place while receiver somewhere else, no pressure on opposing QBs, give first down cushion on WRs….on and on…but yes LSU has a very good team and had a very good day.

@@coreyrogers5358 The LSU offense is legit. Not questioning that. They defeated a really good defense. The only reason State beat Arizona is defense. My reasoning for the blowout was all on the State Offense. LSU has more to prove on defense. I am not sold on a title run until i see their defense handle a legit offense. This year that State offense aint it.

Thx Matt Wyatt…Great job! Very helpful! Looks like we got out-coached, out-played and out-athleted by a superior team!! I don’t know how we put an end to so many mistakes, but our WRs seem to do a pretty good job of blocking I’ve noticed all year. Too bad we continue to struggle right in front of the QB. I’d like to see the coaches find a handful of plays we can execute consistently and wear them out, then add slowly as we go. If we can figure out how to get 11 guys doing the correct things at the same time, I can live with the outcome, but it’s hard to watch a Croom era team…and please Don’t Wear those softball looking White helmets again. Seems like that experiment should’ve ended years ago…we just look right in our Maroon headgear!

Good stuff, Matt. This will be a good game for this o-line. They are still figuring out the scheme and will learn a ton about their assignments and where to be. O-line is the most developmental position in football and can take a year or two to be proficient. I look forward to seeing their progress against SC.
