- Learn how to make POPSICLE bubble bars! They're adorable, so easy to make, & are great bubble bath makers!
RECIPE: 1/2 cup (125 grams) baking soda, 1/2 cup (80 grams) SLSa-sodium lauryl sulfoacetate (or • Bubble Bath-makers: Dr... ), 1/8 cup (25 grams) cream of tartar (or baking soda/SLSa) + 16 milliliters fragrance oil, 2 milliliters polysorbate 80, 12 milliliters vegetable glycerin, 12 milliliters [any] liquid surfactant (I used cocamidopropyl betaine), 8 milliliters vanilla stabilizer (omit it or replace with glycerin/surfactant) *Bubble bars are very susceptible to oxidizing, so I recommend a color stabilizer, especially if using vanilla scent. + 16 drops of color.
Sieve dry ingredients together & mix. Mix wet ingredients separately, then add to dry. Mix & knead batch thoroughly. The dough pulls together into a ball that feels like play-dough. Divide dough & add liquid colorant to each. {I divided it into 4 & added 4 drops color to each}. COLOR PLAYLIST: • Color Stack bowls to slow drying If dough is too wet, add a bit of baking soda/SLSa, stirring after each addition until it's workable. If it's too dry, add liquid surfactant/glycerin.
2 sided popsicles are tricky to un-mold. So, I used 1 side of a 3" mold instead. Coat mold with corn starch OR mica. Fill mold & pack it. Repeat until mold is filled & top is flat. Make an indent in the dough with stick. Tap the mold until the bar releases. To secure stick & get bars flat on bottom, flip bar right side up with stick in. Then gently press the dough down while holding sides in. Cure bars 24-48 hours. *Fix damage immediately while bar is still workable. Mend the bar back together using liquid surfactant as glue. Gently press & rub the cracks together until no longer visible. Secure sticks after bars cure/harden. Add melted soap to indent, replace stick, & hold it in place 1 minute. *Recipe makes 6 [half] popsicles that last a year. Keep them out of direct sunlight.

Dora you are the best. You should write a book with all your formulas
I've not even watched the video yet and already I'm jumping up and down excited! Well, fist pump at least lol! My best sellers all relate to ice cream or sweets hands down. So this is like a friend saying "Hey, I've got something else you can try!" So thank you!😊
❤me too
Thanks!
No problem!
Very cute. I’ve noticed that when I make bubble bars (from your recipes) and set them aside for a couple months, THAT is when I get results like yours. They don’t tend to have impressive amounts of bubbles if I use them a few days after making.
GREAT tip!
You have the best videos on bath products. I love that you share the recipes. Personally,I do not make any of the bath stuff but I love watching. I have no idea why I don't make these things lol. I will say that I'm very impressed at the suds these popsicle bars make. They are so beautiful too!
Thanks. I get that statement more than you think. A lot of people watch DIY tutorials but never make the stuff. I think you should give it a go! You got the best teacher right here!!!

You're amazing I can't stop watching your videos Dora, I'm so lucky to have found you❤
Yay!
Love the video. Could i use mica in place of liquid coloring?
What kind of vanilla stabilizer do you use? For CP or for lotions and washes?
Ooooohhhh these look so amazing! Look so yummy I want to eat them lol 😂! I was wondering, can these be molded in a silicone mold? If so, should they dry in the mold? I was curious to see if you’ve tried something like that?
Hi!! Im making these right now far valentines day! Are they multiuse? Can you dry and use more than once? Thanks so much!!!
Love your videos. You should sell kits of your wonderful recipes..I know i would buy them..💖💐

Could you use mica in place of liquid colorant?
How long do you wait to use it
How long do the bubbles last?
Hey Dora! Those are ridiculously cute!! I clicked on the link to the popsicle mold and put stuff in my cart, it was over 100 bucks and everytime I put that code in it says invalid, so I figured I’d wait on my order until I figured out the code, thanks girl!!!
please try again, the discount code should work now
I appreciate your attention to this matter!
@@thebathtime1 thank you for letting me know! 😊
How did you do the decorations?😮😮
I love these!!!! Where did you buy the color stabilizer? I didn’t see it on Nurture’s Wedsite
Ive relinked it so it takes it straight to the page
Hi Dora! How much of the bubble bar do you use for your bubblylicious bath results? Also, why not make them double sided? Thank you as always.
I explain this in description. The main reason is it's tricky enough getting one side out, let alone 2. but also, the bubble bar is quite heavy, it takes double the amount of dough, it doesn't lay flat - it looks odd- like too big. Etc. Anyways, I used about 3/4 of a bar.
Wow absolutely amazing bars u never disappoint us with amazing talents on diy bath/body products. I always learn so much from u. And one day ur talent is gonna take u far hon i promise you that! Thank so much for blessing us all with ur amazing gift and talent for this stuff xo. Where do you get all the supplies needed for some of this stuff? I really wanna start making stuff again❤
So glad my content is helping you! Always read the description. Important items will be linked at the bottom
@@CreativeBathLab i Always do love X😁
does the cream of tartar make a difference ? (in both bubble bars and bath bombs)
It's supposed to make it harder. But honestly, IDK.... definitely not a big one if any.
hi, lovely video! i wanted to make them for my daughter's birthday party but I don't have SLSa and the sodium cocoyl isethionate I can find, is not powder but noodles. can I still make the recipe?
Yes but your popsicles will have noodles in them. However, if you're in a bind you could grind the noodles down in a blender. I've done this before. Be careful & do it in a well ventilated space with a mask on. I'd even suggest doing it outside.
@@CreativeBathLab thank you for your reply. I have tried to grind them in the past and my mixture was grainy. If I were to use them in their current state, at what point do I add them? do you think that the result will be decent or a disaster?
Otherwise, can you please recommend another fun recipe that 8 11-year old girls would enjoy? I don't have a lot of SLSA left though (about 110gr)
You did even show how you decorated the bubble bars
Yep
Cute. Name or link to color stabilizer?
description
Couldn't you replace the cream of tartar with cornstarch?
Sure
