I just started my training and can't wait to get in the air! unfortunately the weather has not cooperated with me! Feel free to follow my journey if you wish! I am 47 and I say its never to late to go for it!
I’m ex-airline. Made the move to 91 corporate in 2014. I couldn’t be happier. I am, however, jealous of your XLS+. I fly an XLS and would take that Collins suite all day over the Primus/Universal stuff. You’ve even got ACARS and everything... jeez!
Thanks for the ride! There actually are some great restaurants and things to see in ABQ but you have to get into the old part of town. I used to fly into Double Eagle but there is really nothing there west of town.
Great stuff! Got my PPL Theory exam real soon in May, & once I pass the practical skill test, I'm going to build time for my Commercial ratings. Flying is everything! Keep up the good work!
Ever since moving to an area where I have a runway in my backyard, I’ve wanted to get my pilots license. I think it would awesome to add to my bucket list.
Cory, great video! You and Captain Moonbeam provide good insight into corporate flying. I know what you mean about lame pilot lounges. Was recently on AngelFlight, and had to hang all day in mediocre pilot lounge. Thank goodness for Mac as I was able to work while hanging around. Keep up the great videos!
I think I speak for a lot of people in saying that why did you fast forward the approach & landing & the second take off. That’s the best part & is the main reason I watch these videos.
Great vid! I’m a flight instructor with only 280hrs but got hooked up with a gig flying right seat in a Citation part time. You’re right. Coolest job ever!!
With such low time, what type of job did you pick up? I am currently a student and trying to figure out how to bolster the instructor pay coming up in the next few months...
Nice video, thanks for posting. Perhaps with 8 hours at a place with a mediocre pilot lounge the aircraft owner could get you a day room or two at a local hotel allow some proper rest for his flight crew.
So great video, been here for awhile, Since you were in OH, I think. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks, and ask your Ratings? I have seen you in a Citation (this vid) and I believe it was a Challenger in other vids. Also, which is your most enjoyable to fly? Have a great day.
Hello, great videos! so I’m a cfii currently at 1,000 hours. I’m undecided on what the next step is for my career. Can’t seem to decide what would be best for me. Either a career in the airlines or a career in corporate flying. Any info/advice you might give to help a newbie pilot in a new career make this decision would be greatly appreciated. What were the factors in your life that made you choose going the corporate route? Any common myths in the 121 vs 135 debate that should be dismissed? Such as potential salaries, lifestyle, etc. If you have a video already that sheds some light into this issue, I would appreciate the title/link. Thanks for the great videos.
I can try to answer that for you. They are map lights I believe. Quite a common place for map lights to be in aircraft so I assume that is what they are.
Cory - just found your channel and subscribed. Thanks for the great content! So, essentially, the corporate jet transports executives to meetings and events - is that right?
I am still finishing school but I want to be a private jet pilot do you have any advice on how to get hours and a job for a private jet and charter company?
They recently changed the runways in BFI so ours kept saying the wrong runway numbers (13R instead of 14R), was annoying and a touch distracting. But overall it’s nice to know when you are close to a runway, especially someplace different like down in Mexico
I am 35 now and all my life I wanted to be a pilot and never got the opportunity it graves my heart but mAybe it's not for me. Learning to fly a plane in my jurisdiction is costly. At least I don't mind learning to fly a private plAne one day
Desiree Gulston hey Desiree, I can say it’s never too late. I personally got my private at 29, know one guy flying professionally that started at 35. In fact I’m looking at another guy right now making coffee that is 35 and working on his next ratings. In aviation it is far more common to see people who have done something else first to pay for it. Don’t be dissuaded by the cost! Don’t think about the whole big number, just take it 1 step at a time. Call up a local instructor and go for a discovery flight! If it lights that fire you will find a way to make it happen!
If your over 5ft I think you will be fine. I’m 5’4 and had to use a small pillow to fly the Cessna 172 ( quite a big plane, in terms how adjustable the seat is.) I wouldn’t be concerned if you wanna fly corporate or in the airlines the seats are a lot adjustable. Focus on the flying and studies. Take a discover flight as well. Good luck! 🍀
Pilot Vlogs lived here 39 years. Originally Buckeye. U are also correct? All relatives all around Columbus. I was born there. 3 brothers moved back in last few years. Me and Elderly parents still here in Florida and stay in ,lol hope all is well. Living my dreams through your videos.
You may be paid to travel but you have irregular sleep hours, rest in couches at public spaces, eat junk food and have no control over your work schedule. All for a couple of hours of flying a strangers plane. Not for me.
I just started my training and can't wait to get in the air! unfortunately the weather has not cooperated with me! Feel free to follow my journey if you wish! I am 47 and I say its never to late to go for it!
You have a fantastic beard
It's so awesome to watch a fellow pilot vlogger. Someone who shares the same passion. Keep up the great work man. Hope we can meet someday.

greetings from Guatemala following you , keep it up with the good work pilot
What’s better corporate or airline and why? Which is more exciting
welcome back!
Love the time-lapses while flying!

I was working on my atpl course (air law #yay! )
But cannot resist to see your video !

Man i didnt know you were in Albuquerque i live there. I was doing a flight all day when you were here. love the vid
Chik Fil A is Always a great choice! Love the outro.
love the ATC addition!! So helpful in my pilot training :)
Gorgeous plane! Love the Vlog! Local fan here. What do you do to cut down on the boredom, the times when you are stuck at an airport for a whole day?
what age did you get your first pilot job?

Great video! Question: what are those camera looking things above your head at 8:21 ?
I can try to answer that for you. They are map lights I believe. Quite a common place for map lights to be in aircraft so I assume that is what they are.
WTH why would anyone thumbs down a video like this ?? Envy ?
Cory - just found your channel and subscribed. Thanks for the great content! So, essentially, the corporate jet transports executives to meetings and events - is that right?
Great video. What was your first flying gig? I assume you instructed so what did you move on to after that? What were your times when you got hired?
I LOVE YOUR VIDS, that opening takeoff was great! Keep up the great content:)
What kind of phone or camera are you using?
IT'S HEREEEE!!!!!!!!! FINALLYYYYYY
Heard all the shortage is that there are enough pilots, just not enough pilots the major airlines are looking for
I am still finishing school but I want to be a private jet pilot do you have any advice on how to get hours and a job for a private jet and charter company?
I’ve always wanted to see a flight facing forward, never know what’s going to happen on UA-cam, thanks
Great insight - how do you balance home life?
Welcome back
Do you know if the lear jets and the bigger bombardier jets have a common type rating?
What jet is this
When taking off .Looks like plane has voice controls haha
On take off a number of things verbalized one of them was "rotate" what did that mean? Thank you.
I aspire to become a pilot. I just wanted to know if the Citation that is being used has a tiller or the taxiing is done with your feet.
N0616JC Productions The Citation XLS+ he's flying is steered using the rudders. No tiller
what plane do you fly bombardier ??????
Great video Cory are you using one camera for shooting your vlog?
Have you seen premier1driver 360 vlog ? I thought it was great.
May be they will donate one.
Cory do you find that runway awareness callout annoying? Surprised we don’t have on the 737
Pilot Vlogs yeah I bet. It’s so annoying that I think most people would ignore it which isn’t the point of the ‘safety’ system
They recently changed the runways in BFI so ours kept saying the wrong runway numbers (13R instead of 14R), was annoying and a touch distracting. But overall it’s nice to know when you are close to a runway, especially someplace different like down in Mexico

You guys fly as co captains ?
Wow would love to fly but im a scardy cat
Looks like you landed on autopilot that’s awesome
hi... actually .. I want to be a pilot..so..what's the height requirement to become a pilot?
If your over 5ft I think you will be fine. I’m 5’4 and had to use a small pillow to fly the Cessna 172 ( quite a big plane, in terms how adjustable the seat is.) Which FBO did you ramped? Cutter or Atlantic
I see that it was Cutter. Been there once. Our crew did not like the pilot's lounge.
I will always remember that time and your face when you farted, thanks for that, ROFLMAO Anyways thanks, great video, good work, I enjoyed it a lot.
Is that like a pilot lounge
Yeah that’s what it is supposed to be
@CoreyThe Pilot do you fly for a CEO or a charter company?
you don't miss your old uniform?
Nice - corporate intra-company airline ?
I wish I could be a pilot when I grow up
I'm confused, I thought you worked for a family, but citation is registered to an electric company... Do you have two jobs?
Pretty sweet ass gig

Truck drivings better. You can pull over when you want 🤣🤣🤣
EnglishAndy their is more of a chance dying in a car or truck crash in a day. Then in an airplane in a year.
There is no comparing truck driving to flying it may be a personal favorite but flying is better and safer.
first comment hi

J A one way to look at it I guess?
@@CaptainCory Your guess is quite correct, there are no tangibles when it comes to happiness.
