    I’m ex-airline. Made the move to 91 corporate in 2014. I couldn’t be happier. I am, however, jealous of your XLS+. I fly an XLS and would take that Collins suite all day over the Primus/Universal stuff. You’ve even got ACARS and everything... jeez!

    Thanks for the ride! There actually are some great restaurants and things to see in ABQ but you have to get into the old part of town. I used to fly into Double Eagle but there is really nothing there west of town.

    Cory, great video! You and Captain Moonbeam provide good insight into corporate flying. I know what you mean about lame pilot lounges. Was recently on AngelFlight, and had to hang all day in mediocre pilot lounge. Thank goodness for Mac as I was able to work while hanging around. Keep up the great videos!

    I think I speak for a lot of people in saying that why did you fast forward the approach & landing & the second take off. That’s the best part & is the main reason I watch these videos.

    Hello, great videos! so I’m a cfii currently at 1,000 hours. I’m undecided on what the next step is for my career. Can’t seem to decide what would be best for me. Either a career in the airlines or a career in corporate flying. Any info/advice you might give to help a newbie pilot in a new career make this decision would be greatly appreciated. What were the factors in your life that made you choose going the corporate route? Any common myths in the 121 vs 135 debate that should be dismissed? Such as potential salaries, lifestyle, etc. If you have a video already that sheds some light into this issue, I would appreciate the title/link. Thanks for the great videos.

    • @a.mgaming3418

      I can try to answer that for you. They are map lights I believe. Quite a common place for map lights to be in aircraft so I assume that is what they are.

      They recently changed the runways in BFI so ours kept saying the wrong runway numbers (13R instead of 14R), was annoying and a touch distracting. But overall it’s nice to know when you are close to a runway, especially someplace different like down in Mexico

    I am 35 now and all my life I wanted to be a pilot and never got the opportunity it graves my heart but mAybe it's not for me. Learning to fly a plane in my jurisdiction is costly.At least I don't mind learning to fly a private plAne one day

    • @goobscoob712
      @goobscoob712 5 років тому

      Desiree Gulston hey Desiree, I can say it’s never too late. I personally got my private at 29, know one guy flying professionally that started at 35. In fact I’m looking at another guy right now making coffee that is 35 and working on his next ratings. In aviation it is far more common to see people who have done something else first to pay for it. Don’t be dissuaded by the cost! Don’t think about the whole big number, just take it 1 step at a time. Call up a local instructor and go for a discovery flight! If it lights that fire you will find a way to make it happen!

    • @mazan7824
      @mazan7824 3 роки тому

      If your over 5ft I think you will be fine. I’m 5’4 and had to use a small pillow to fly the Cessna 172 ( quite a big plane, in terms how adjustable the seat is.) I wouldn’t be concerned if you wanna fly corporate or in the airlines the seats are a lot adjustable. Focus on the flying and studies. Take a discover flight as well. Good luck! 🍀
