What are the odds? I'm trying to remake Revolution 909 in my DAW right now and this guy comes back onto UA-cam after 5 years and remakes it with his physical audio workstation, _and_ it's the dude that made the Fresh video
No way your lying !!!! Stop are you for real ? It’s the dude who made fresh ? Damnnn he low key a made me trip with the fresh remake, it was a good day that day
Actually sounds pretty nice like this. It’s not like there are too many manipulations in the making of the song to start with. I like that high end punch that the MPC gives it
Your video is the textbook definition of dedication to sound. Thomas Bangalter was known for running drum machines through guitar pedals, especially those from Boss and Guyatone. I decided to experiment with my TR-909-like by running it through a dozen pedals just for kicks, using the pattern from "Revolution 909." You can watch the video on my channel!
You should be able to just select record in mono on the mpc sample screen. Just switch it from stereo if it's on that. Or just only put in one jack to the record inputs 👍
Wauw the high and Bass separation is a neat trick ! But how is dat in between bit made ? That boom bap bap pa pow waw thing , other slice of the sample ?
Hola muy buen trabajo. gracias por tu dedicacion. me gustaria mantener contacto con tigo ya que soy un gran fan de Daft Punk y me encanta estudiar sus temas y rastrear su trabajo.
Hi there, If you could help me with these Qs I’d really appreciate it 😊: 1) Are all the drum hits (apart from kick) being sidechained by the 3630? E.g. hats and clap? I always thought the clap would be left out of the chain but sounds like it is being squashed. 2) Which samples are being sidechained? Bass sample or mid? Assuming it can only be one as the 3630 only has two channels: Am I right in saying one for the drums and one for one of the samples? Thanks! 🙏🏻
best advertisement for the 3630 ive ever seen

Biggest challenge is Face to face
btw, the hats are actually Linn cabasas
This is so fucking dope, I pray you do more. Maybe even Ian Pooley or Modjo stuff
Not the biggest Pooley fan but do like Modjo... That's not a bad idea!
Great job doing this in the MPC, even though it was originally done on an SP-1200.
2:44 "sOuNdS LiKe sHiT!"
BRUH WDYM? IT'S SOUNDS BANGER!! 😭😭
There's also a Linn shaker where the closed hats are. That's what gives it that dry swiping noise.

I founded this video at night while i was high, literally makes my whole night
Those few seconds of Phaser-DDL just confirms that it is the best effect of all time
Not bad at all! Love this! Just a heads up tho, that 2nd hat sound is a Linn Drum (LM-2) casaba if I recall correctly
omgg you are the guy from the Together and Cassius Live
@@t.charvet3867Finley's a god in the DP world

How great, the analogue continues and the classic is still the best, greetings from Chile 🚀🔥🔥🔥
Wicked!
Do you have the DP/4 connected to send/return or as an insert? :) sounds awesome and damn close!
You are dope .. brilliant 🎆
I think some of the high end of the sample is filtered out in the original song, but good remake otherwise.
Can you do a Da Funk tutorial/cover?
really nice! 👍
Great job!
Muito boa cover!
Thats the one!

Sick
nice setup
good job brad
Hey man how are you using the 3630?
Is it dual mono with kick and drums going in? Or are you using it as a sidechain?
You play the hi hats in or sequence them ? Any tips with that?
🤘
what settings in ur compressor?
Incredible
