Exactly, and not grilling him about em as well. Really refreshing, definitely a solid interview.
Thank you i was thinking the samething!
Royce don't need eminem..
This is the first Royce interview where they didn’t mention Eminem in the title, Royce deserve that respect
Why??? His rap is a blabbering riff rap joke, aimless no point banter to created lines with no content.... deserves respect because Eminem did him a favor putting him on an album?? Royce is a racist.. Go hang out with him and find out for yourself.

One of the best No Jumper interviews, imo. Keep getting these OG's Adam, they respect you and how you handle your craft and platform, that's clear off rip. It can only benefit you to pay respect to the OG's while still staying in tune with the new generation and up and comers. Everybody wins here. Much respect to Royce and Adam
Royce is the most well rounded hip-hop artist that's putting out music right now. He can keep up with lyrical powerhouses like Eminem, Black Thought, Crook, ect. on a technical level. He can match his cadence to that of street rappers like Griselda and Pusha T and not sound awkward or out of place (like Em did on that Conway joint). He just started making beats VERY recently and already produced an entire album that sounded like a veteran could have done it. Not to mention his content speaks on such a deep and personal level, he is an amazing story teller. Just the line "product of every single blood freckled Timberland" is a beautifully complex way of saying something so simple. The Allegory is the best hip-hop album since To Pimp A Butterfly in my opinion
Yeh I wasent feeling em on the Conway song but he killed the fat joe song but yeh Royce for me is on a level with em if not better
He also wrote 'the message' on dres 2001 album fukn buzzed when i found tht out years later

I want a Yelawolf No Jumper interview
Wheres he talk about Yelawolf, cause Vlad talked a bunch of bullshit
Same, I wanna hear both sides. Can't claim Yelawolf is a racist just cause someone we never seen or heard told Royce so.
Liquid Sunshine I agree, race relations really bubbled over during Ferguson and BLM, and that all happened during Obama’s term if we are being honest. Do I think one has necessarily anything to do with the other? No. The country will take it course regardless of the person in office.
Royce might be the only rapper I've seen on this that can actually string a sentence together fluently
Been dealing with alcohol for a while now. Just woke up from a black out and clicked this video cause the album was fire and it was exactly what I needed to hear. God puts what we need to see in front of us
I love how eminem was only talked about in the context of the album. Usually people ask only about eminem. I respect it Adam.
Glad I have spotify.
I'm going to have to listen to his discography.
Just a suggestion, but after you listen too the “ The Allegory “ go to. “Rock City” which his is debut album. N keep in mind that the album came out in 2000 then go to “Death is Certain “ which is a classic, it’s one of my favorite Royces album, it’s the album that turned me into a fan. then go to “Success is Certain” “Street Hop” “Layers” and at last “Book of Ryan” his discography is spotty at Best Buy I promise go by that list n you won’t be disappointed.
Also check out his debut with Slaughterhouse ( the shady debut is terrible) he also has a bad meets evil with Em which is also cool. And the PRyme series with Dj premiere is super dope too
Royce puts his words together so eloquently, I could listen to this all day.

Really solid interview Adam. Props
You can always tell when adam actually respects a guest. Haven't seen a hr+ interview in a while.
The punch interview was an hr + check it out
Its not about him respecting his guest its that Adam knows a lot of his guest need him more than he needs them and most of the guest he interviews are young struggle rappers who have little to no media training so Adam has full control. Guest like Royce, Young Thug, JuiceWrld and other who have ton of clout and Adam needs them because they bring tons of views to his videos.

I can tell you're a real royce fan all those albums you named are 🔥 no doubt about it even that shady slaughterhouse album had a few bangers on it imo it's definitely mainstream but i wouldn't say the whole album is bad but i get your point about it.
Can't forgot the Bar Exam series. Mainly vol. 1 & 2. There's a best of the Bar Exam on Spotify but it's definitely not the best imo. Royce is at his best when teamed up with Preemo. Boom was what got him lit and the works with Preemo on Rock City and Street Hop are classic. Prhyme is next level genius to only sample 1 person for an album. Rocye was formerly known as the best kept secrect, I guess I just leaked it. BOOOM
Same here. Death is Certain made him my favorite rapper. "Ding" is one of my favorite songs its not on Death is Certain but its another gem. Him and Preemo.
brian mitchell Bar Exam 2 is my favorite mixtape from him, Bar Exam 1 has some gems in there as well, 3 was cool but I think he was too drunk to know what the hell was going on.another great mixtape is his M.I.C mixtape, those has some cool songs in there with his old crew. Him and Premo are a guaranteed classic a hits for sure, it’s a shame he never came up with anything great with Pharrell though. He really did have all the super producers at his door smh
K. Truell Ding! Is a classic, you get a chance UA-cam “Heartbeat” it’s a Kanye produced track. Very dope song from him, his Destroy & Rebuild mixtape has a bunch of unreleased shit in there. The one on Spotify is not the same one I bought at an FYE back in the day but has a few of the same songs in there.
I love the fact that this is the first Royce interview where he actually was asked questions that he had to think about. Just seeing a brilliant mind working gives me motivation.

Royce a legend
That outfit is fresh af, Color coordinated from the glasses to the jacket.
Finally a real mc in here NICKEL!!!!!
Royce's journey through the darkness actually helped me see my own faults and shortcomings in my life and in my relationship. When I learned about his struggles with self-medicating, cheating with multiple women and living a life of chaos and disorder I was forced to look at my own. That reflection sent me in a new direction and moved me to launch a men's program, focused on re-defining "manhood/masculinity."

Royce is pretty smart. A lot of rappers blow up from songs & albums regarding their "personal life" and experiences they have been through, especially artists from his generation. "The Book of Ryan" came out in the middle of his career, and that's where he covered most of his personal issues & life stories. I was really hoping he would elaborate on his claims that vaccines are the reason for autism.
As someone on the spectrum I did my research and the only research I found back then was by a doctor in a completely unrelated field.
He happened to threat a dozen of patients that had been vaccinated and also had autism.
The studie was almost immediately retracted partly because his own staff distanced themselves from it and even went as far as putting in the request.
Important reasons why his conclusion was false (or atleast not proven) were;
- the group was way too small
- the members of the group all had been vaccinated
- the vaccination rate at that time was above 99%
- he didn't look into unvaccinated kids having autism
Countless other studies have either disproven this theory or were unable to even find evidence to support it.
Furthermore a lot of people, that were born at a time where those vaccines weren't around, currently get diagnosed as being on the spectrum. My dad being one of those.
I just hope that Royce realizes that autism, adhd etc. are gifts not curses.
We might not always function perfectly in society's standards. Our brains are circuited different and most of us have a lot of problems with doing things the way it's expected. Mainly because we have a huge urge to see the logic in things instead of blindly accepting things as fact just because others say so.
They drug us for a reason. Numbing our brains is the best option for those relying on sheeps to somewhat keep us in line

Griselda Records is signed to Shady. LOL...Yelawolf? Lmfaoooo
Lol funny shit is thats what one guys said he did .but yet the other black artist he has worked with never said or got that racist vibe .. and yelawolf has done very will with his brand so people just talking shit bot knowing shit 😂😂 yelawolf following a lil bigger than royce and griselda . And not saying he is better but trying to act like u dont k ow who he is come on . People just stupid ignorant these day's
@@clubbalangDGI To be fair, Griselda dropped their first Shady album after Yelawolf got out of Shady.
Thisthe Spies what, you heard him say the N word with the hard R? Do tell. Because the vlad rumor says he didn’t even say it, someone else did and Royce all mad that Yela didn’t confront the guy to his satisfaction. It all sounds like speculation and bullshit to me that should have been handled privately first and then you drop a song if shit goes sideways.
Love this interview Adam 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
WOLF isnt racist nor KID ROCK! Both good friends and have mixed children. WTF?? Relax & get DRUNK ROYCE!!
Yeah Royce should of never made those allegations, if he's not about explaining in further details. Looking foolish. That goes for his brother too.
You can be a racist or a bigot and impregnate or get pregnant by another one race. How in the hell do you think slave owners had so many mixed children running around? Furthermore, the bigot white man‘a biggest issue and fear is with the black man, not the black woman.
A Toast To The Men oh so even if you love a person of another race and have a family with them you’re still racist because slave owners raped slaves back in the day? C’mon now, the two things aren’t even vaguely the same.
Damn man I didnt know how legit 5'9 was..his music has always been dope and progressed with each album but a bunch of respect for the rappers who act like grown men and are able to eloquently get across his mindset. Mad respect for this man.
Royce is very articulate 😍
mature and stylish. I love his conversations. Detailed.
Starts talking about Yelawolf @ 43:00
Yelawolf is amazing the albums he drops never miss. He's straight 🔥 💯
First time I ever heard yelawolf come out of Adam’s mouth

Y’all see the different between this interview and most other ones he be having a these low life’s.
They actually just having a conversation and not just asking questions he don’t even care about. This real.
