I grow up on this on Sega Genesis and just purchased it for my ps4 on Wednesday. I always enjoied the music from the Sage Genesis version as well as the different stages. Although I just purchased this game on wednesday, I am now on stage 8 and I am enjoying it. I can't wait to try playing it online with other people. Hey Cory! Ik that this is an old message but i just wanted to say that ik what it was like to play retro games. growing up, i played on the OG N64 and play super smash bros., legend of zelda, pokemon snap, etc. And later on, i also got to play a little bit of the sega genesis too! those moments were good and happy ones because i got to play with my brothers and my sister, before things went really south. I have played Streets of Rage 2, play as Max Thunder, and almost made it to the end. I saw my brother complete the entire game and I thought of how great he was playing the game and beating it. thank u for the great content and thank u for shared memories. Have a retro time!

I literally love the streets of rage series. My dad and I also played this series a lot and I recently bought streets of rage 4. Also to CoryxKenshin if you ever see this comment, you can run. You just have to double tap left/right then hold that side. I had to figure that out myself when I started the game.
The survival mode and extra moves made this game the GOAT of all the streets of rage
