This drama is a masterpiece no wonder. However, I really can't support the main couple. The fact never changes that the man was abusive and it was not even on her past life, the abuse didn't stem from any past animosity. The guy was a plain jerk who decided to kill the FL (not to forget after torturing) in his right senses. Later when he protects the FL it feels so illogical, like boy, you have given her trauma and scars worse than the ones you are getting possessive over. And I really can't understand the FL's logic. Literally won't trust a guy offering her protection, care, genuine love just because he is serious about his role as a marquise, yet feels bad for an assassin just because an old couple suicides in the second lead's influence. The FL growing emotion for a man who literally tortured her and ended up killing her 2 days back is just pure nonsense.
I totally agree with you. I don't like him. I don't favor him for her but who knows, my guy is Pei Yan, the one who save her more while getting killed over and over.
