Their cover of this song is incredible and you'll see how vocally talented these girls are and how hard they studied the western style of this musical genre.

XG is paving the new X-pop genre but we can't deny the fact that they trained through and utilize the K-pop system as a part of what they do. So denying the K-pop side of their identity is like denying a big part of what makes XG who they are. So I think they don't deny kpop as one element of XG's music but just can't help explaining to the UA-camrs who post wrong thumbnail like this one or saying “XG is kpop” like fixed because of no information.
