    I cleaned my calipers as I changed my pads a few days ago, I just sprayed the entire caliper with brake cleaner and scrubbed them with a brush and tea towel, did a pretty good job

    old mechanicさま。

      Hi Agris thank you so much for your nice comment. I normaly use a car brush to clean my own bike, with just dish wash soap, that works great too

      @@bc-mr1si Hi, when the front wheel is of the ground and you give it a spin, it should be turning around atleast a few times. There is allways a tiny drag felt you know. But if its more then just a slightly drag, I would replace the seals, and have a good look at the caliper pistons too.

    The temperature rises to 100, then it stops starting, it cools down, and it starts up. What is the reason? Many thanks to you. Waqat Ali. It heats up to 75, then it stops starting, it cools down, and it starts up. What is the reason? Honda 2003 600cbrr

    can you do a video on the same bike about coolant problems. I believe mine is overheat possible thermostat or a bad sensor but, I'm not 100% sure.

    • @TheOldMechanic
      @TheOldMechanic  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Michael, first get a look at the radiator if its not 'blocked', then check of the fan kicks in when the engine is hot.. (becarefull for your fingers huh..!!) Ofcoure check if the coolant level is okay. Then get the thermostat out..put it in water and heat it up and watch if it goes open... If thats all right.. then you could give your coolant system a good flush with a hose, and see what comes out..
