kaddish isnt in modern hebrew. its from aramic. the language jews where spoken in biblical era this language was very well spoken also in ancint persia iraq syria cros the middle east. its kind of a praying and thanking god for all he does for us in life and out of it. when you are reading the bible you actually reading aramic language.
