If anyone has trouble to sysex the bulk file to the Yamaha SY this hint might be helpful: although I could dump the internal memory without any problems thru every MIDI channel, at least my old SY-22 only wants to receive the sysex data on channel 1.

in past I had a yamaha tg33 the laptop version xD cool little synth, they said "the poor man's prophet Vs" xD
