Epic Run dude! Great to see the speed running community give this game more time in the spotlight! Such a good game that i think many are missing out on
Under two hours!? And I thought my 6 hour playthrough was fast haha. I gotta get better at this game so I can play with little or no morale. Excellent run Sir.
Hey Axel, such a great video, well done! I'm about to start this game and was wondering if you'd recommend the same build you use for your speedrun for a casual first playthrough as well?
Well, idk if i'd call that a build tbh, what i always recommend for these games is: pick whatever weapon you enjoy and prioritize style, experiment on skills and weapons as you go, there's no 1 answer when it comes to a playthrough. It's more about understanding the game's mechanics than picking the right build. I really only truly mess around with builds in turn based rpgs pretty much
How does this compare to Nioh 1 and 2? Better/worse? I finished Nioh 1 including Abyss, and just got Nioh 2, now already wondering about other Team Ninja games. The one thing I really dislike about Nioh 2 is the shortcut system: you must hold R1 then left/right, and R1+R2 is possible too instead of R1+right, but if you hold R1+R2, nothing happens, at least in Nioh 1 you can make holding R2 reset the shortcut to the 1st list. I think they should really use the touch pad and have left swipe go to menu #1, up swipe #2, right swipe #3 and down swipe #4 (in addition) + give the option to reassign touch pad click to the old R2, and for the gesture, I don't mind having to push 2 buttons.
