At 1:17, you show a shortcut to your memory list. There is also another short cut that I haven't heard anyone talk about. On that same screen, instead of entering the frequency, you can also enter the memory list number and press the large knob to enter. The frequency for that memory number will come up. So if you're like me and travel a lot. I have several hundred repeaters programed in my memory. So I use that short cut to quickly get back to my favorite repeaters.
Does Yaesu still use the weak RJ45 plug for the mic going into the radio? I haven't bought any amateur radio rigs after my Yaesu mic plug failed and went to Motorola instead!
@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones Actually, I'm very gentle on my gear but the mic cable had fractured at the RJ45 connection point! The mic is still functional but I don't have any confidence in running this gear in a mobile environment.

I have owned many YAESU radios over 30 years all have never failed you were unlucky .
