Where did you come up with this fact? GD is not the least popular member in Japan. He's the first one among BB to hold a dome tour in Japan for his solo concert. The only other member to hold a dome tour in Japan is Daesung. This just shows that among the 4 members who have held their solo tours, only GD and Daesung are able to sell that many seats, and can afford to book those venues.

Just like how Daesung is not the perv they always make him out to be, sometimes they're just joking around. In cases like popularity and # of fans/ seats sold during a concert on average, is something objective and based on data. The company has a projection of how many seats an artist can sell and they book the venue accordingly. If the artist can fill a stadium, the company will book a stadium. Which is why it's very easy to see that GD is far from being the least popular BB member in Japan. Only Daesung and him managed a dome tour there and GD was the first one to do it too.

It's not the same saying Daesung is the most popular in Japan compared to saying GD is the least popular. Just using some critical thinking to point out it's not true.
