- A brand new aircraft type here for me the TBM960. It was only introduced last year to replace the 940. It was powered by a new PT6E the 66XT, giving it some 895shp, it has a dual control FADEC and a new five blade Hartzell propeller giving it a Top speed of over 400mph. A new GWX 8000 doppler weather radar a pod on the wing, environmental control system for the Cabin, Diminable windows. Around 20/30 built so far, great livery on this one. Smart piece of kit

The start of these things is incredible to listen to. We have an older 920 stationed at our airport and to hear the turbine whine through the ignition sequence is just awesome. The TBM is definitely my lottery plane.
