This is simply incredible. One of my favorite albums by maybe the most unsung rock/art band ever.... hearing these brilliant songs in different forms, ideas that got edited out or repurposed. Fantastic. Thx for putting this out here. Viva Max !!!
My comment is going to be quite lengthy,!! I am one of the biggest fans of Max Webster. I saw them in concert opening up for rush. Little did I know I was watching one of the most unique bands in rock history. While other bands were worried about looking cool and all that rock ‘n’ roll jazz that went with being a rock band. Max Webster took a very unusual approach. Making the audience laugh at them was part of who they were. Max Webster was made of laughter. The band was hoping that you would laugh at them and along with them,!! This band is totally awesome, all you have to do is listen and you can hear total professionalism. RUSH was promoting their new album, a farewell to kings. Max Webster opened the show. They were promoting their album, hangover. On stage there was a giant head with three eyes and one long mouth, rectangular in shape. It was to be a status symbol for the band, kind of like the pig was for Pink Floyd. With that aside, I would like to give a big shout out to the person who obtained this wonderfully unheard of soundtracks that we’re just sitting on a shelf somewhere in a Canadian Recording studio, just gathering dust. These unheard of demo tracks are an absolute treasure to any fan of the band, like myself. To them I say God bless, and can you find anymore !!! I know that they’re only Demos, but this has become one of my favorite albums. I love the fact that Max Webster did not care about The lyrics and focused mainly on the music itself. And leaving it up to pye Dubois to add The lyrics later. I was so impressed with the band in concert that I could not wait for the next day to buy their album. They made that big of an impression to me.!! I would go on To see Max Webster three more times, before the band quit and morphed into Kim Mitchell who also is one of my favorite musicians/bands. I Would go on to see him in concert three times as a solo artist, go for soda Kim 🤗 !!! I love the bands original take a lot of the songs, so openly creative, more of a freestyle jazzy sound, with the original sound the band wanted before a producer walked in and said this is how we’re going to do it. Which ended up being the album A million vacations, what was to become the bands most successful album to date . Inside the demos are bits and pieces of Terry Watkinsons song let go of the line, the bands biggest charting song in Canada, according to Kim Mitchell . The energy these guys created on stage was contagious, no one else like them in the world , hey what’s that the drummers smoking on the video, A million vacations/let go the line.!! I think the bands taking a 420 before the show, that’s OK because I know we were out in The audience. Can’t wait for its decriminalization in the states, it’s about time.!!!!✌️ Jesus how I miss these guys !!! Please keep the unheard material coming, much appreciated from your biggest fan here in the states, rock ‘n’ roll and peace out. B “RAD” KUNDERT
A "like" button isn't strong enough. Needs a "LOVE" button to push.

'A Million Vacations' LP should have been a double-album, these guys have a depth of material that is quite stunning.
I think "I'll Remember" should have made the final cut.
