Living abroad is one of the most challenging but satisfying experiences you’ll come across. I think you doing it as a couple will help, you’ll be able to lean on each other on the darkest days and give each other support which is key for survival. At least that's what I think. I know I still wish I knew someone from home when I relocated, and even after all these years it’s still something I long for. I am wishing you all the best on your journey.
It’s a lot easier when you have a partner. It really has been a cruise but we can only imagine how difficult it would have been without each other. We hope it gets better for you ❤️. You might just be lucky to meet someone you know from home; a lot of people are relocating.

I am just somewhat concerned when people assume study permit is a visa to japa. It technically ends after 3 years and you are supposed to return to your country except you get a job that is willing to sponsor you.
The first set of those who got post study visa ends in may 2023 afterwards the truth we open to those without a sponsored job.

It took over 10 weeks due to Russia-Ukraine crisis. We applied in April but didn’t get our response till June
