I punch prepunched things after I laminate them all the time! 🤗 all you have to do is cut down the edge of the laminated paper as close as you can without the lamination separating (which for me is VERY close) and then take the bottom off of your hole punch, turn your hole punch upside down so you can line up the prepunched holes and then just punch again and it lines up and matches perfectly. That way there’s no crooked lines from cutting the edge off of something if you don’t have a paper cutter, and no punching holes into text or prints that you don’t have to. 😍😍😍 it looks much cleaner and is SUPER easy to do if you have a disc punch, no matter the brand.

I love you videos, and I love the idea of laminating the pages you use all the time. I was wondering, have you tried leaving a space at the binding of the page, and just punching the laminate instead of the laminated paper? That way it wouldn't punch what you've put on the paper. I don't have a laminator, so I wasn't sure if just the punched laminate would hold up.
Alexis Eliason I actually just left a comment on this! 🤗 you don’t need to cut off the prepunched holes or leave an extra space to punch the lamination, you just laminate the prepunched pages, cut down as close as you can to the side with the prepunched holes, take the bottom/ punched hole catcher off of your disc punch that way you can visually line the holes up perfectly and there’s no punching into text or a print you don’t want to. Just because you can see where the holes were very easily doing it that way and it’s literally just as quick lol it hurt my heart a little when she cut it off and then punched into the text.
Great idea to laminate those pages. And good to know about the 3 mil sheets. I broke an ARC punch a couple years ago using 5 mil so I figured it just couldn’t punch lamination.

How much are the companion packs ? Also the wet erase markers do they leave marks on your paper or rub off on the sheet of paper it’s up against ? Love this ideas I am thinking of doing this with the journal pages I had in my happy notes to reuse them so I can use them over and over again.! Hi Heather! I love laminating sheets like those for my planner. I do it all the time. I also use 3mm laminating sheets. How do you get the Happy Planner to go through it? My always jams up so I end up using a singular hole punch and scissors for every disc slit (hope that makes sense). I ordered 3 planner companions and other goodies (including this one). Can't Wait to use them :) As always, thanks for sharing.
Everything I've seen her laminate has gotten jacked up in one way or another. Can't stand these holes being punched on the boxes or writing. Should probably try 10 mil laminating sheets that way you can leave a clear edge to be punched, and it will be sturdy, unlike 3 or 5m

Probably been said, but if you left a little room on the punched side you wouldn't have to punch into the planner page.
