To use the ramp settings, so that your small letters don't bend and/or break, you have to make sure to set your minimum power to the laser's minimum required power to start(mine is 8%). Otherwise it doesn't work. In the preview window you can then check "shade according to power" and you should see your text as blurry, then you know it's working. I recomment you do a test starting with a 0.3mm ramp, and see what it does.
Wow!! Thank you so much!! I can't wait to fire up my pew pew and try this! I've had the supplies for months but now feel more comfortable trying. Yay!!! Excellent tutorial!!
Thank you for making this video. Im still having a hard time in light burn I am trying to make a stamp with my logo on it i did the steps you did but when i duplicated it nothing changed on the copy looks the same I did 2 test cuts its not working. Please help I don't know how to fix it I have been sitting here trying to make it work for about an Hour :(
great video and thankyou for making it. I would like to try making some so am going to order the rubber but you never mentioned or recommended a good stamp/ink pad. Thanks
Sorry, can see others trying to figure out that "duplicate" section. I'm really struggling with this. I'm trying to watch what you're doing and process what you're saying. It just don't make any sense... It looks as though you're making a frame and then pressing duplicate!? Still don't show up as an inverted layer for me to preview how the stamp is going to look...
In LB when I duplicate the design, all it does is create a second layer of the same exact design. What am I missing here to get the inverted duplicate?
The two graphics (your logo and the frame) should be in the same color/ layer, and the layer is in the process mode of "fill" (engrave instead of line/ cut). Hope it helps.
I just watch this video, it is great! Thank you for sharing. You can create your square or any shape in the same layer as your object or letters it will turn negative. Don't forget to mirror the image before you make the project.
You are right! we need to reverse the letters when engraving stamps. After selecting the graphics, find on the toolbar the button “Mirror Selection Horizontally” on top of Lightburn Software.

Thanks for the video. Where do you buy the thin foam that goes between the wood and the rubber?
You put all the info in the description ❤🎉 thanks 🙏
