- Check out this hanging light I made from recycled cardboard and a little wood for structure. It's a pretty simple lighting project that can be adapted to all sorts of sizes and shapes.

Love the Gumby clock!
I didn’t think I’d like it, but I was wrong!!! Nice work!
Cool lamp. Looks as if it is not so difficult to make. Thanks for sharing
Love It!! Awesome job and I love your clock collection and the color you chose.
A very creative idea 💡 with the cardboard circles and it looks unique too! Thank you for sharing this wonderful idea 👍👏☝️🏡😍
thanks for checking it out!
Love all your ideas! They are always so different and you explain everything so clearly. I would love to watch you make something with a concrete top. I would like to see what method you would use. Keep up the great work!
I have a video showing how I did a "cheater" concrete table top, but have not done a real concrete top yet. If we ever build a house, I might make some poured concrete counter tops. ua-cam.com/video/3kPKlCeuwSA/v-deo.html
AWESOME idea 👍🏼
I started watching your videos and what I like is your clear explanation of your process and of course your final product like this awesome lamp -
Thanks 👍🏼
💕🐢💕
Thanks! I try to explain as many details as I can to help everyone out.
This is so cool. I think even I may be able to create this!
Give it a try! It's not too hard to make.
i really appreciate how well you explained your process, it made it very easy to follow
I so look forward to your videos! I'm pretty sure I've liked everyone so far! Keep up the great work, it gives me inspiration to try new things in the shop and try some of your projects for myself.
Awesome! That's a big reason why I make these videos. Thanks.
Loved it man. !!!!
Glad you liked it!
Another good one, Kevin.
thank you!
Awesome and light! ;--) Love it! It would be a great project to do with a teenager for their room lamp. Thank you!
That sounds like a great idea. Thanks!
That's fantastic. Really, really cool. Thanks for posting this; I'd really like to make one for my place, and now I know exactly how. Super great.
You are so awesome! I was looking for something else and stumbled on this! I actually had this same idea but wasn’t sure of the total execution, sooooo thank you!
Great project and you are such a good teacher as well :)). That sound in the background outside at one point sounded like a metallic cricket!! Too funny😅😅😅 And you could even paint the cardboard pieces any color you want as well :))
Thanks. Painting all the cardboard discs is a pretty neat idea!
MrDiyDork Or if you are crazy enough you could use paper of different kinds, wall paper, contact paper, etc or even fabric I guess for decorating with a theme. Just some thoughts. You know these crafty women, they can decorate something with almost anything, I tell you! Like how they made a beautiful wreath out of coffee filters!! Some creative minds, you are one of them as well :))
Great project! I can see so many different ways to do this and it still be very cool. I'm thinking it would be fun to do one with ribbon instead of cardboard for a little girls room or do one with yarn maybe for your grandmother. I'll kinds of great ways to use this. Thanks for another great project!
After I finished it up, I was thinking the same thing. If I added more dowel rods, I could probably weave some rope around it for an interesting look.
MrDiyDork You should do that as another project!! I think that would be awesome:))

Nice.
thanks!
You're amazing! Another very cool project! And inspiring! Thank you😎
Thanks!
Awesome!! You did it again!!
thanks!
Brillaint cnc machine for cardboard would have saved ya a few headaches lol
A cnc could take this project up a bunch of notches. I used to run one at a sign shop I worked for about 10 years ago. I used to experiment with ideas like this all the time. Nowadays, I try to keep my projects simple without needing to use too many specialized tools. I'd still take a cnc if someone gave me one though. haha
Awesome. Can you share a exact measurement?
Hello, great project. You really inspired me to start flipping furniture. I watch all your videos. The past two weeks I have been breaking my back, I have done two dresser and a table with four chairs. I have listed them on Craigslist and three or four other free websites. So far I have no emails or calls on anyone wanting to buy. I have got several scammers waiting over seas cashier checks but no one serious. How long do it usually take to sell? Do you get several people interested in buying? Or usually just one serious buyer? Please help because I am starting to lose hope. Thanks
Sometimes it can take a while. Some of my pieces sell within days. Sometimes they take a month or longer. The more classic/timeless/neutral my pieces are the better they sell. Most of the latest pieces are a bit "out there" color/design wise, and they've been taking a bit longer to sell. I used to get a few tire kickers before something sold, but lately, I've been finding that one serious buyer for them. I usually just use Craigslist, which is easy, but draws in lower price buyers. I've been experimenting with Offer Up and LetGo, and they seem to have similar buyers. I haven't tried Facebook, but that might do better. I think if I found a booth in a bigger city or boutique store, they might sell for higher prices, but like I said, I've just kept it simple with my local Craigslist for the most part.
If you haven't checked it out already, I made a video series about how I buy & sell furniture that might give you some ideas. ua-cam.com/video/FmCMivZdWRU/v-deo.html
MrDiyDork right after I posted this comment I made my first sale :-) I have actually made several sales this past week and they all came from Craigslist. I sold out all my furniture and I am currently working on more. Yes I see that buys go for the timeless look. I did have one set back. I sold two night stands and it was raining outside, and I didn't use enough coats of poly. The buyer had to bring thing back. The poly was so wet and thin it was actually just peeling off like glue. Thank you so much for your help and inspiration. I watched all of your videos. Keep them coming. Thanks
