Thanks Andy. I'm sure the koi will be happier than most koi here in Canada when the really cold weather gets here. I'm definitely happy to be able to bring them indoors and not have to worry about an ice covered pond for 4 - 5 months.
Thanks Lau. Certainly more work to close the pond for winter than most UK koi keepers and most Canadian koi keepers but thanks to the rubber boots it's not all that difficult. Koi are definitely happy but not sure if the sturgeon appreciate the reduced swimming space.
@@LauMagroTheFrenchKOInection If I had the space (and the money 💰💰💰) believe me, I'd definitely have another pond, one for the sturgeon, one for the koi
Geez your vids are fast and furious.. so nice to see all your koi and sturgeon again.. but now the hard work begins.. winterizing the equipment.. still watching
Been a while since I put out any videos as not much has happened over the summer so now that I have something going on koi related thought it was time to share again. Hopefully more things to share over the next few months.
So amazing how that air you put in that bottom drain can hold off all that water pressure coming from the top. No sooner you'll have to put everything back.
The blower is a powerful one for sure and has a lot of power behind it. It was definitely a good purchase. May be too early to be saying this but fingers crossed 🤞🏻 🤞🏻 🤞🏻 for an early spring and mild weather.
Very nice video friend here supporting
Great update, Ken the koi looking happy in the warmer water keep up the great work Andy 👍

Nice update Ken - gosh everything is a lot of work... roll on spring :-) Koi and sturgeons are happy tucked in for the winter

@mykoiobsession yeah I an imagine. You need another pond just for them then 😅

Wow so much work.. compared to me dropping my pumps down deep (off,) so they don't dry out. . Learning lots...

🇮🇪 brilliant video sharing
Thanks so much. I don't put out a lot of videos compared to many other koi keepers but am happy that someone finds the ones I do of interest.
@@mykoiobsession your welcome
Excellent idea on the ice break
Been using those ever since I built the pond so don't really know if they actually help or not. I like to think yes.
Woow I’m really enjoying your channel ❤thank u4 Sharing
Very happy to share. Hopefully you'll find some of my upcoming videos informative as well.

Thanks Martyn. Not quite as creative as the things you do around your pond though. 👍🏻
