A great start with some excellent Dinah Washington albums. Well done on the butcher. I enjoyed the unusual Procol Harum cover - I don't recall seeing that before. I was looking forward to another dig video. You did not disappoint.
@@mad4vinyl802 Thanks, Mark. I’ve got all those Dinah records so Ryan will selling those, probably in a lot. I only brought home a copy of West Meets East by Yehudi Menuhin and Ravi Shankar and a couple Argentinian records.

That "Abbey Road" bootleg cover photo is one of the "outtake" images taken during the actual Abbey Road cover shoot. The record contains outtakes from the Abbey Road recording sessions. - Dave
Hi Dave, We appreciate the info. I never knew this bootleg existed. Very cool that it contains outtakes from the actual Abbey Road recording sessions. It’s a nice piece for the Beatles collector. Thanks you for watching and share your knowledge with us. ✌🏽 Steve
I've had the 3 Behind The Walls records in my Discog wants for a few years. A friend put me onto them when he got one at the Austin fair over a decade ago, in a cheap box of course. That Lee Michaels lp is great like you say Steve, essential cheapie. I wasn't familiar with the Queen Anne's Lace. Checked YT and very Mama & Papas/bubble gum but pleasant. Haha, nice wind up on the butcher sleeve but cool to find an unpeeled. Look forward to the 2025 digging and seasons best to you and Ryan...Nige
Behind The Walls is a fascinating project with unbelievably talented musicians. Circumstances make the albums that much more compelling. I left the Queen Anne’s record behind. It was a little too bubble gummy for me lol. I like to keep Ryan on his toes lol 😉 Cheers, Nige!
Hi Henry. Give or take I guess. It’s easy to lose track being that this is a side gig on top of full time jobs. Not sure about the Brothers Four. There certainly is a lot of titles from them and most in beautiful condition. We appreciate you watching and sharing your thoughts. ✌🏽
Hi Paul. That must be nice to find so many UK pressing of such great artists like the Beatles. Thank you for watching and commenting. We appreciate you! ✌🏽
Correct, I found a Mono Paste over in a Temecula California Record Store Called "Spin Records" For $1.99 Back in the Late 90's. They mainly were a Heavy Metal store so they had no Idea what they Had.
@@TheVinylRecordMission God Bless, and keep digging! And by the way, I've never seen that Abbey Road boot before...can you say if there's a year printed on the sleeve or labels? Must be a later pressing, thought I owned everything from the 80s.
@@greghawkins229 That doesn’t surprise me. I realized we got the v-neck wrong after the fact lol. That bootleg is mighty minty! I’m not a Beatles collector. So if Ryan doesn’t want it, it’s up for grabs.

So Ryan (my middle name!) hunts storage units and just has an eye for the ones that are filled with records? Does he ever make mistakes and buy units that don’t have records? Basically is it hit or miss or does he have a means of knowing if it will be an all record storage. Because for me the only thing I’d have to go off is if there were pictures of the open unit to bid on and I saw those classic U-Haul boxes everywhere. Is that what Ryan does? Look for those classic U-Haul boxes when he’s shopping for unit auctions?
Great question Ryan. Back in the day when I first met Ryan, the other Ryan lol, I remember him being on email lists of storage facilities all over Southern California. They would send him photos of the inside of the units. There were some occasions where the units had shelves full of records. I remember having to go to Garden Grove and box up an entire unit of over 10,000 records. My radiator broke right when I arrived at the storage facility!Lucky for me one of our helpers at the Record store asked his father, who is an auto mechanic, to drive out to the storage facility and change my radiator on the spot, all while I was boxing up Records lol. We’ve met a lot of people in the Record business due to owning a Record store at one time. Ryan has maintained many of those connections coupled with being one of the hardest working guys I know and he’s one of the luckiest guys I know (next to myself) when it comes to NOT finding Records, but Records finding him.
