FYI the male host of the show introducing Delta at the beginning of the video is David Campbell eldest son of Jimmy Barnes (the guy that sang Stone Cold ft. Joe Bonnemasa). David is also a singer, musical theatre and cabaret performer.
You guys actually reacted to a Delta Goodrem song 2 years ago. Darren Hayes did a cover for her song "Lost Without You" during the ARIA awards which is the performance you reacted to. I think she was still recovering from cancer at the time and was meant to sing but due to the treatment, was unable to. So Darren sang the song for her. Delta is amazing and almost everyone doesn't understand how the rest of the world hasn't figured this out yet.
Delta was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in July 2003; the ARIA’s were in October 2003, so she had really just started her journey battling the disease.
Every thing about Delta is exquisite. That vocal whilst sitting down is amazing...I love her passion and the emotion she puts into her performance. Thanks so much Guy's for this awesome reaction as per usual.
Unbelievable voice! Just an awesome, very talented young women. Another great Aussie singer.. we aussies are very proud of our singers, the world has definitely missed out.
Delta had Suzie speechless. 😅😂😮 This was a couple of years before the surgery that robbed her of her speech. The clarity of her phrasing is unbelievable in this. She has understandingly lost some of that clarity now but NOT her amazing tone. She still has that in bucket loads. Keep the Delta coming. Thx Tanya
Tanya thank you so much for requesting this as a fellow Australian I'm so proud of Delta she is a National Treasure. And yes this song gives me goosebumps
You need to see the version from her “Wings of the Wild” Tour. Fans got together before the show and passed around signs saying, “thank you,” and displayed hearts on them. When she began to play this song, fan literally lifted up the signs and surprised her. She was so taken back and started to cry. It was truly a beautiful sight to see. Her Aussie fans are awesome.
Heard Travis say... "Wow 16 Degrees"... yeah dude, Aussies use Celsius ! B-) So that's 60 Degs F for you mate ! ☮ ps Delta is the Queen.., US needs to catch on & the Grammy's will come !!! - For example, Delta Wrote, Celine Dion's " Eyes on Me " & performs the backing vocal on that track for her. xx
Well now we have to do *Dear God* by XTC (Ecstasy) *"XTC - Dear God"* Probably the Most Profound Song in the Past Half Century since John Lennon's *Imagine*

Delta is also a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age of 18.

Nice but her video version is better by far
Her video is amazing! But I think a lot of people appreciate the stripped down versions. All her videos and performances are next level! =)
